PROBABLE INSIDE DESIGN

We want to record the names, dates and family connections on all the gravestones or memorial plaques within the churchyard and church interior.

We are then relating this to published death and burial records.

We shall publish a detailed hard copy booklet available in the Church and to other researchers.

This information will also feed into both our Shops & Buildings Project and our Census & Directories Project (see separate sheets).

No specific deadline, but we would like to get it done before the autumn.

Churchyard has been mapped into 10 zones A-J including the Church interior

Spreadsheet of known deaths in the parish has been developed by integrating from Church records and those on a Family History Website

We currently have 6 teams of two people each looking after one zone and following the procedure we have worked out. If you would like to form another team, and take over another zone, please let us know.

How can I help?
