Jessica SENNING - Nedre Foss Gård www.nedrefossgaard.no
In the district of Mathallen , after years of work and the opening of a
large hall dedicated to gastronomy ( Mathallen ) is one of the most
beautiful buildings in Oslo which has just been renovated and opened to
accommodate a gourmet restaurant, a wine bar , a beer bar and a
brewery . The restaurant part is handled by Miss Jessica Senning,
former sommelier of the best Italian restaurant Trattoria Popolare Oslo
who had nothing to envy with his list of Italian wines to the biggest European restaurants.
Karin DEJEBORN www.territoriet.no
The wine bar Territoriet is small and with a cozy atmosphere. Very
friendly staff with lots of knowledge on wines from different territories.
A great place to stop by for tourists as well as locals from the area. Their
wine list is good and has a good choice from all different regions of the
world.
Behind the bar you’ll find the most welcoming, knowledgeable staff – who’s happy to suggest a
wine based on your inklings. Or just look up at the large blackboard at the back, if you can’t
find a glass of wine that tickles your fancy here – you’ll probably not find it anywhere.
Daniel Andrea – Hessel Rutter
Engebret Café - an institution in Oslo where Ibsen, Bjørnson, Grieg and Munch all had regular
tables. History is engraved in the historic walls. The flourishing theatre community at
Bankplassen in the 1800s created a demand for a café for actors and others. 151 years later,
Engebret CafThe menu offers a large selection of seafood, but the restaurant also serves game
dishes, especially in autumn. Lutefisk is in great demand around Christmas, and this tradition
is an important part of Engebret's identity. The wine list incorporates most wine-producing
countries. Engebret Café is well-suited for banquets for large and small groups. The lunch table
is famous, and during the summer months guests can enjoy their food outdoors.é is still as
popular as ever.
Kim Michael Johansson Tjuvholmen Sjømagasinet (Oslo)-
www.sjomagasinet.no
At Tjuvholmen, looking towards the Astrup Fearnley museum and
close to the water you can find a different Fish- and Seafood
concept: Tjuvholmen Sjømagasin. It is divided into several areas:
the main restaurant, the open Chambre Separée, the Fish Deli and
the Conference Centre.
You can admire dark lobsters and king crabs in our aquarium right
inside the entrance, and the scent of fish and shellfish waft out into the dining room from the
panoramic kitchen.
Turning out some of the best seafood in Oslo combined with peerless views over the Sound,
Tjuvholmen Sjømagasinet is owned by successful restaurateur Bjørn Tore Furset. An
enormous hit with the wealthy ladies of the city, this is a trendy but refreshingly casual
lunching option with a fish shop tacked on that sells the very best quality mussels, oysters, and
shellfish. Most of the produce is simply grilled and the shrimps, oysters, and muscles are
available by the delicious kilo.
Recommended by Michelin guide.
Kjetil GAARDER – Markveien Mat og Vinhus / Dr. Kneipp Vinbar (Oslo)
www.markveien.no
Markveien and Dr. Kneipp are vinous institutions in Oslo. First Wine bar in Oslo (1991),
simple, seasonal (6 menus per year) in a relaxed atmosphere and drink !
A wine list at reasonable prices ( for Norway ) but very classic.

AVALIAÇÃO DO EVENTO:
Pontos fortes:
Diversidade de regiões e produtores visitados;
No geral, houve bom feedback sobre os produtores e quintas visitadas;
No geral, muito bom feedback sobre os restaurantes e hotéis escolhidos;
Convidados mencionaram que a viagem foi muito bem organizada e planeada.
RECOMENDAÇÕES E ASPECTOS FUTUROS A CONSIDERAR: Era importante ter mais tempo livre para absorver melhor a cultura e historia portuguesa. A experiência
esperada é tanto sobre o vinho como sobre a vida no país.
