Objectives

• Use of a TM system called Wordfast Anywhere, to translate from american english to brazilian portuguese, a legal text.

• We used a model of International Convention of Private Law.

Outcomes and Conclusion:

a) Very helpfull, as it manages to translate most of the words from the source text;

b) Translation was developed in only one day (September 08th, 2011);

c) Possibility of saving specifics glossaries, regarding the subject of the work;

d) Capability of saving the target text on the same extension as the source text;

e) Process of saving the glossary it’s a little bit confusing.
