• European supported project which has the objective to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of this industry by stimulating an innovative and seamless use of ICT along its value chain.

• SMEs are at the centre of interest of this action, as it aims to facilitate their participation in global digital food value network and reinforce business relationships between SMEs and their business partners across borders.

• 3 sectors are studied• Cereals• Dairy Products• Fruits and Vegetables

• Planning of work :• Analyse the market and the flows of information• Determine the standardization issues with UN/CEFACT PDA Agriculture: Re-use of

UN/CEFACT Messages or propose new projects

• Needs for flower sector and seeds which are not covered now by UN/CEFACT XML CII but are in EDIFACT Invoice.

• Examples :• Self billing use case

• Composition of products (ie: a bouquet with several types of flowers)

created.
