Existem mangueiras para todos os tipos de áreas de jardim. Equipadas ou não com acessórios, as mangueiras são escolhidas essencialmente de acordo com o seu diâmetro, espessura e reforço, o que garante a sua resistência.

Mangueira de jardim composta por fios de poliéster entrançados e longitudinais, possuindo uma maior resistência à pressão e mantendo um diâmetro constante graças à sua configuração. Depois de testes laboratoriais intensivos e de simulações práticas efectuadas à gama helijardim, concluímos que o seu entrançado mais apertado e a quantidade de fios longitudinais que possui garantem uma resistência a pressões de trabalho elevadas (de 8 a 12 bar) e evitam o alongamento da mangueira.

A mangueira monocamada é adequada para uma utilização ocasional, principalmente no jardim, utilizações diversas na casa e no transporte de água em geral. Composta por PVC, é flexível, sem reforço e por isso adequada para uso sem pressão.

The single layer hose is suitable for an occasional usage, mainly in the garden, various uses in the house and in water conveying in general. Composed by PVC, it is flexible, without reinforcement and therefore suitable for no pressure usage.

The frame is made of an interlacing of reinforcing yarns, similar to a knitting. More malleable, elastic and lighter. Garden hose composed by braided and straight longitudinal polyester yarns, possessing a bigger resistance to pressure and maintaining a constant diameter, thanks to its configuration. After intensive laboratory tests and practical simulations performed on the helijardim range, we concluded that its tight braiding and the amount of longitudinal yarns it possesses, assures an elevated pressure resistance (from 8 to 12 bars) and prevents the hose elongation.

There are hoses for all types of garden areas. Equipped or not with fittings, hoses are chosen essentially according to its diameter, thickness and reinforcement, which guarantees its resistance.

Recomendamos que o comprimento e o diâmetro da mangueira sejam seleccionados tendo em conta que quanto maior for o seu comprimento e o seu diâmetro mais pesada a mangueira se torna, menos maleável e mais difícil de manusear.

We recommend that the length and diameter are selected having in consideration, that the bigger the length and diameter, the heavier the hose will become, less malleable and more difficult to handle.

Una a mangueira à torneira através da utilização de adaptadores (de torneira e de mangueira).

Unite the hose to the tap by using adaptors (tap and hose).

Ligue as mangueiras entre si ou a outros acessórios (agulhetas ou pistolas) com a ajuda dos ligadores e adaptadores.

Connect the hoses between themselves or to other fittings (nozzles or spray guns) with the help of connectors or adaptors.

O caudal da mangueira depende do seu diâmetro. Assim, uma mangueira com 19mm possui um caudal duas vezes superior a uma com um diâmetro de 13mm!Os diâmetros mais frequentes são o de 15mm e 19mm.

The hose water flow rate will depend of its diameter. Therefore, a hose with 19mm will possess a water flow two times bigger than a hose with a 13mm diameter!The most common diameters are 15 and 19mm.

Mais manuseáveis do que as agulhetas, dotadas de uma ergonomia que permite encaixá-las na mão, as pistolas estão equipadas com um gatilho que comanda o caudal da água e com um regulador de caudal para ajustar com precisão a força do jacto. As pistolas estão equipadas com uma alavanca para bloquear o gatilho em posição de rega contínua.

More handleable then the nozzles, gifted with an ergonomics that allows them to fit in your hand, the pistols are equipped with a trigger that controls the water flow and a water flow regulator to precisely adjust the strength of the water jet. A PRESSÃO DE TRABALHO: por norma está entre os 2 e 5 bar, mas os “golpes de ariete”, ou seja, subidas repentinas de pressão resultantes da paragem da rega, podem fazê-la subir até os 15 bar.

THE WORKING PRESSURE: is usually between 2 and 5 bars, but the “water hammers”, meaning, sudden increases in water pressure resulting from watering stoppage, can increase it up to 15 bar.

BO NÚMERO DE CAMADAS: a maioria das mangueiras tem entre 3 a 6 camadas. Quantas mais camadas a mangueira tiver, maior é a resistência e o rendimento. Escolha uma mangueira de jardim com uma camada exterior anti-UV, para resistir ao sol e evitar a proliferação de algas na água estagnada, e anti-abrasão para reduzir o desgaste provocado pelas fricções.

THE NUMBER OF LAYERS: most hoses have its between 3 and 6 layers.The more layers the hose possesses, the bigger the resistance and its yield.Choose a garden hose that has an anti-UV outer layer, to resist the sun and avoid algae proliferation in stagnant water, and anti-abrasion to reduce the wear caused by friction.

AA PRIMEIRA VEZAntes da primeira utilização, desenrole totalmente a mangueira e faça correr água. A mangueira irá assim ganhar forma.

THE FIRST TIMEBefore the first usage, uncoil the hose completely and run the water. The hose will then gain shape.

APÓS O ESFORÇOApós a rega não deixe a mangueira em locais com pedras, plantas com espinhos ou por cima da relva evitando esmagá-la. Esvazie totalmente a água da mangueira e enrole-a num enrolador.

AFTER THE EFFORTAfter watering don´t leave the hose in a place with stones, plants with thorns or on top of the grass, this avoiding crushing it. Completely empty the water from the hose and reel in a winder.
