missions• Later on, returned to the U.S. to finish college• 1971- graduated from university and returned

to Israel

Contribution to Zionism• Formed the anti- terror institution• Took position as Deputy Chief of Mission• 1984-1988 Netanyahu served as the Israeli

ambassador to the United Nations• Was elected to the 12th Knesset- 1988• Served as Israel’s principal representative in the

international arena• 1991- served as senior member of the Israeli

delegation

Contribution to Zionism• 1993- Likud party chairman• 1996- elected 9th Prime

Minister of Israel• After second term, he was a

business consultant and a popular speaker

• 2002- returned to politics • 2009- became Prime

Minister of Israel’s 18th Knesset
