ORAÇÃO CONDICIONAL (IF)+

ORAÇÃO PRINCIPAL (OP)

As sentenças condicionais são formadas por duas partes, a frase condicional, marcada pela presença da partícula “se” (if, whether, unless) e a oração

principal.

Caso 1.1If /when (presente) – OP (presente)

• Se ela dança, eu danço.

Present Real Conditional (Sometimes I have time.)

Present Real Conditional (Sometimes I have time.)

• If she dances, I dance.

• É usado para falar sobre o que você normalmente faz em situações da vida real.

Caso 1.2If (presente), OP (futuro)

• Se Jane estudar, ela passará.

Future Real Conditional (I don't know if I will have time or not.)

• If Jane studies, she will pass.• If Jane studies, she will pass.

• Indica o que acontecerá se uma certa condição se concretizar. Essa estrutura normalmente apresenta situações reais, acontecimentos futuros, de resultados perfeitamente possíveis.

Caso 1.3If (presente), OP (imperativa)

• Se você quer, tome, tome, tome.

Real imperative conditional

• If you want, take, take, take.

• A frase principal está relacionada com a condição. Se a condição ocorrer, a ordem

deve segui-la, afirmativa ou negativamente.

Caso 2.1IF (passado), OP(passado)

• Se eu não te amasse tanto assim, talvez perdesse os sonhos...

Past Real Conditional (Sometimes I had time.)• If I didn’t love you too much like this,

• If I didn’t love you too much like this, maybe I lose the dreams.

• Descreve o que você costumava fazer em situações reais e particulares. Sugere que seus

hábitos têm mudado e você normalmente, não faz estas coisas hoje.

• Se eu não te amasse, já tinha perdido os sonhos.

Caso 2.2If (passado), OP (condicional)• Se eu tivesse tempo, estudaria Inglês.

Present Unreal Conditional (I don't have time.)Present Unreal Conditional (I don't have time.)

• If I had time, I would study English.

• É usado para falar sobre o que você faria em situações imaginárias em geral.

Caso 2.3If (passado), OP (condicional)

• Se eu tivesse tempo, estudaria Inglês.

Future Unreal Conditional (I won't have time.)

• If I had time, I would study English.• If I had time, I would study English.

• É usado para falar sobre situações imaginárias no futuro. Não é tão comum quanto o Future Real

Conditional porque a maioria dos falantes da língua inglesa deixam aberta a possibilidade pode acontecer

no futuro. Não é usado apenas quando um falante precisa enfatizar que algo é impossível.

Caso 3If (pas.perfeito), OP (cond. perfeito)• Se eu tivesse tido tempo, eu teria estudado Inglês.

Past Unreal Conditional (I didn't have time.)• If I had had time, I would have studied English.• If I had had time, I would have studied English.

• É usado para falar sobre situações imaginárias no passado. Você pode descrever o que você teria

feito diferentemente se as circunstâncias tivessem sido diferentes.
