É tempo de celebrar!Em um ambiente de festa e efervescência, celebra-

mos os 150 anos do Canadá com esta maravilhosa

exposição das capitais Brasília e Ottawa. Depois de

visitarmos São Paulo-Montreal e Florianópolis-Van-

couver, chegou o momento do projeto “Olhares

Cruzados: Imagens de Duas Culturas” enaltecer os

centros do poder do Brasil e do Canadá.

Não podemos negar que estamos vivendo

um momento disruptivo no mundo, de criatividade,

empreendedorismo e inovação. E é desta forma que

a Câmara de Comércio Brasil-Canadá trilhará os seus

caminhos, expandindo os seus horizontes com cora-

gem e iniciativa, navegando com convicção e con-

fiança na disseminação e integração da cultura e do

comércio entre Brasil e Canadá, identificando opor-

tunidades e tendências que possam contribuir para

o desenvolvimento de ambos os Países.

O trabalho desenvolvido pelos fotógrafos

Kazuo Okubo e Daniel Stanford é muito oportuno pois

consegue, com maestria e profundidade, cumprir a

missão de retratar Brasília e Ottawa como centros que

compartilham a mesma identidade e valorizam o que

ambos os Países tem de melhor: alegria, juventude,

tolerância, ousadia e, principalmente, diversidade.

It is time to celebrate!In an atmosphere of celebration and effervescence, we

celebrate the 150 years of Canada with this wonderful

exhibition of the capitals Brasilia and Ottawa. After visi-

ting São Paulo-Montreal and Florianópolis-Vancouver, the

time came for the project “Olhares Cruzados: Imagens de

Duas Culturas” (Crossed Looks: Images of Two Cultures)

to highlight the centers of power in Brazil and Canada.

We cannot deny that we are experiencing a

disruptive moment in the world, of creativity, entrepre-

neurship and innovation. And this is how the Chamber

of Commerce Brazil-Canada will walk its paths, expan-

ding its horizons with courage and initiative, navigating

with conviction and confidence in the dissemination

and integration of culture and commerce between Bra-

zil and Canada, identifying opportunities and trends

that contribute to the development of both countries.

The work developed by photographers

Kazuo Okubo and Daniel Stanford is very timely be-

cause it manages, with mastery and depth, to fulfill

the mission of portraying Brasilia and Ottawa as cen-

ters that share the same identity, and value what both

countries have the best: joy, youth , Tolerance, bold-

ness and, above all, diversity.
