Prj1. Sustainable Production Processes(RoHS)

•Support the adequacy of pilot companies to QC 080000

•Support companies in the implementation of the hazardoussubstances management system

•Contribute to the creation of laboratorial competence forenvironmental assessment

Prj3. Integrated management of WEEE (PNRS)

•Feasibility study socio-economic and environmental impact of recycling steps.

•Identify technological demands in recycling stages and reverse logistic

•Prospect potential opportunities to promoting social inclusion.

•Develop models and simulators associated with the various stages of thereverse chain

•Develop a pilot recycling unit

Prj4. Improvement of the legalframework

•Contribute to the improvement of the Brazilianenvironmental legal framework to electronic sector

Prj2. Development of sustainableproducts (ecodesign)

•Increase competence in Country methodologiesassociated

•Develop a pilot case of electromedical equipment

•Promote networks and integrated actions in the area

•Developing mechanisms to expand the environmentalsustainability of logistics (forward and reverse).

Recycling challenges

Any nation that strives to support continued growth of the economy must be attentive to theissue of waste, whose volume tends to continue increasing over the years. In the case ofBrazil, which aims to position itself as a powerhouse with a special interest in social andenvironmental issues, this issue is even more pressing.

Brazil is oriented to the future, but we still have a long way to go.
