• Start CCT tool and create a new project:

• Give a “Project name” and browse for the folder

• Import into CCT the exported SCL-file from PCM







• The structure of your project shown by CCT should look like this







Data Set Engineering

• Navigate your “REC670” object down to LD0/LLN0 level:

• Add a new data set into LLN0 and rename it to “GOOSE”.







• Click/select on ”GOOSE” dataset. Under “IED Data Model” browse and select thesignals you want to add :

-reservation request:

-acknow. the reservation request







-apparatus position

• The complete GOOSE dataset for Line bay should look like this:

• Create GOOSE dataset for Bus Coupler bay.

• Add resp. signals from ”IED Data Model” :







GOOSE Control Engineering

• Define a GOOSE control block and insert your dataset.(have remain on the same level in the project structure)

• Click on Goose Control Engineering and then on GSE Control

• Associate your GOOSE dataset to this NewGSEControl:







• Click on and then define the MAC Address of your GOOSE message:

• Save

• Do the same procedure for BusCouplers IED.:

• Define a new MAC Address of your GOOSE message:

• Save

• Drag and drop the REC670 (client-IED) to REC670_BC (sending-IED) Goose ControlEngineerings window .







• You can now see the REC670 (client-IED) in the structure

• Update the data flow you just created and Save.

• You can now see the “Inputs” for REC670 (client-IED):

• Do the same procedure for Line Bay IED. Drag and drop the REC670_BC (client-IED)to REC670 Goose Control Engineerings window .







• Update the data flow. Save

• Verify that you can see the “Inputs” under REC670_BC

• Export SCD file from CCT, now containing the GOOSE part.

• Import SCD file to PCM600.







• Start SMT, do the connection both Line bay REC670………

…….and BusCoupler REC670_BC:

• Save.

• Close SMT.

• Start PST. You need to activate IEC61850 communication and GOOSE messaging.

• Save and close PST.

• Download to IEDs1. CAP-configuration2. PST (settings)3. SMT4. GDE (If necessary)

• Verify that horizontal communication (GOOSE) is working.
