BME - GoalBME - Goal

The BME project has the goal to supply tools for

searching, recovery and use of statistical information.

The system operate about disaggregated data, that is,

on microdata.

Thus, the BME allows recovery a table of aggregated

data from queries on microdata

• Access – Public access for metadata; – Private access for consultation to researches

data.

• Data analisys – Calculation of statistics; –

Calculation of frequencies; – Spatial occurrence; – Data filtering.

The system is composed by: the database of

aggregated data, the system of consultation (mining)

and the tools for loading and definition of data.

The goal is to provide an ample access to the

aggregated data related to the IBGE researches for the

general public.

The main goal of the Metadata system is to assist in

identifying, locating, understanding, management and use

of statistical and geographical data produced fromIBGE's processes.

The system is composed by: the database of metadata,

the system of consultation and the administrative tools for metadata definition.
