The Corcovado is one of Rio de Janeiro hills, famous in Brazil and in the world for the 38 feet tall statue of Cristo Redentor.
Pão de Açúcar is a complex of hills located in Urca. It’s composed by Pão de Açúcar hill, Urca hill and Babilônia hill.
Ipanema is a noble neighborhood in South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1894 by José Antônio Moreira, Ipanema Count. Borders the neighborhoods of Copacabana, Leblon e Lagoa.

Rabanada For me, only in Christmas! It
consists in fried bread soaked in milk and eggs sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.
Caldo Verde It can be originally
Portuguese, but there are several places here in Rio de Janeiro that serve this dish. It’s only start the cold weather for everybody look for this warm soup.

Beach soccer Those who thinks intimist
sports sucks, beach soccer is one of the preferred options in Rio. Team work and lot of fun to enjoy Rio’s summer.
Cycling Alternative to pratice sport, relax and
enjoy Rio’s view. The bike paths are very popular, specially Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas line and Leme to Barra da Tijuca line. This sport works many body muscles and have a high calorie loss.
Footvolley Genuinely Brazilian, this sport
uses Beach volleyball as base, but is played without hands. Or would be the basis of soccer played above the volleyball net? If someone realizes, tell us, please! Several celebrities and athletes can be found practicing this sport in Rio’s beaches..
Surf The surfers flock gather in
sea with big waves. So, it’s not in any beach that you can pratice this sport. The preferred places are Arpoador and Prainha.
Bodyboard Separate your board and your
swimfin, let’s practice bodyboard! There is a school in Posto 5, in Copacabana, that teaches you this sport. The classes take place every Saturday morning, you must just schedule!
Frescoball Did you know that this sport emerged
here in Brazil? For those who believe that it is just a beachy game, is wrong, and the Associação Brasileira de Frescobol (Brazilian Frescobol Association) exist to confirm that it is, indeed, a sport. This sport works coordination and concentratios. You must take care to not bother the other beach visitors.
Slackline This sport requires coordination,
concentration and balance. Fashion is walking on the elastic. Beginners fall easily, but with pratice anyone can stay on line for longer.
