IL MATERIALE: Una composizione di 3 materiali, un mix sapiente di 3 fibre applicate e dosate per ottenere un risultato mirato. L’obbiettivo era incrementare la rigidità senza intaccare il comfort, alleggerire però mantenendo una stabilità unica.La composizione è formata dal 55% da fibra TI800, il 35% TI 1000, e il 10% da XN60, questi componenti ci hanno concesso di raggiungere l’obbiettivo.Il KING RS incrementa del 25% il valore STW (stiffness to weight) rispetto alle tradizionali bici da competizione.

CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE: 950 grammi, sterzo da 1’/2 nella parte inferiore, scatola movimento predisposta per BB 30, carro posteriore con forcellini in carbonio integrati, cablaggio a scomparsa con ingresso frontale e scorrimento esterno.

Here is the new KING RS! Generated by the continuous development that the De Rosa family devotes in its pursuit for the best. MATERIALS: A composition of 3 materials, an expert blend of 3 fibers employed and care-fully measured to obtain a precise goal. The aim was to increase stiffness without impairing comfort, to lighten whilst maintaining a unique stability. The composition is made up of 55% TI 800 fiber, 35% TI 1000, and 10% XN60. MERAK… la storia! De Rosa è orgogliosa di quanto ha fatto questo modello nel portare alta la cultura del prodotto italiano in tutto il mondo. Il modello è interamente realizzato in carbonio; un mix sapiente di fibre rendono MERAK un telaio dalle caratteristiche mecca-niche elevatissime. I materiali usati e la tecnologia costruttiva De Rosa donano al telaio estrema rigidità ma permettendo contemporaneamente di sfogare le proprie doti di gran-de reattività e di stabilità estrema. La prestazioni aeroelastiche di MERAK danno ottimi risultati nella resistenza alla fatica.MERAK presenta la predisposizione per il montaggio eventuale di un movimento BB30, tubo sterzo “oversize” che consente l’utilizzo di uno sterzo maggiorato di 1,1\2 e della forcella dedicata. Se l’acciaio è il metallo nobile per eccellenza il Titanio, dei me-talli, può esserne considerare a pieno titolo il re. E il telaio in titanio è un prodotto che va oltre le mode. È un telaio desti-nato ai veri puristi della bicicletta da corsa d’altissima gamma e amanti di oggetti unici, come è da considerarsi un telaio De Rosa in titanio. Ovviamente esistono vari gradi di titanio, diversi tra loro per qualità, caratteristiche e prezzo, e varie leghe spes-so molto differenti tra loro. Le peculiarità del titanio sono note: parliamo infatti di un metallo unico che offre una resistenza alla fatica praticamente illimitata, un rapporto peso specifico/per-formance ottimo ed un modulo elastico elevatissimo. Per con-tro il titanio ha una durezza che di certo non facilita il compito del costruttore e forse queste difficoltà dirottano molti telaisti su materiali diversi.

ACCIAIO

Materiale nobile per eccellenza e padre di tutti i metalli, no-nostante l’avvento di materiali più leggeri riscontra sempre estimatori in ogni angolo del mondo. Questo perché la ge-nesi del telaio da corsa è, fin da tempi lontani strettamente legata all’acciaio. Ma anche perché l’acciaio e i relativi suoi processi di saldatura, si sono evoluti fino al punto di poter ottenere oggi telai dal peso di circa 1,5/1,6 Kg. Addirittura, qualche produttore ha azzardato proposte ben al di sotto di tale soglia, ma riteniamo che per poter ottimizzare le pe-culiarità dell’acciaio, il peso del telaio non debba scendere sotto certi limiti. Certo, sono valori che non tutti sanno cogliere, ma i possessori di una bici in acciaio hanno un rapporto d’amore con il loro telaio: ed è proprio questo che distingue l’acciaio dagli altri materiali. La nostra gamma prevede due modelli di telaio in acciaio: Il “Neoprimato” classico, saldobrasato con con-giunzioni microfuse e poi il “Corum”, più evoluto, più legge-ro e moderno con saldature a TIG per una straordinaria e originale bellezza.

The ultimate noble material and the father of all metals, despite the advent of lighter materials it still has fans all over the world. This is because the development of racing frames has been closely linked to steel for so many years. It is also because ste-el and the related welding processes have evolved, to the ex-tent that today it is possible to obtain frames weighing around 1.5/1.6 Kg. Some manufacturers have even offered products well below this threshold, but we believe that in order to optimi-se the specific characteristics of steel the weight of the frame should never fall below certain limits. Thanks to this material, comfort, stability and riding comfort come together, to offer the user a very pleasant ride, along with the fascination that only a steel bicycle can offer! Clearly, these are values which are not appreciated by everyone, but those owning a steel bicycle have an affectionate relationship with their frame: and this is what di-stinguishes steel from other materials. Our range includes two steel frame models: the classic “Neoprimato”, braze welded with precision cast joints and the “Corum”, a more advanced, lighter and modern frame embellished with TIG welding, for an extraordinary and original appeal.

CORUM… acciaio e passione! Interpretazione moderna dell’acciaio, per la sua tecnica di costruzione artigianale con saldature TIG e l’utilizzo di acciaio legato 18MCDV6. Il telaio CORUM è disponibile in 30 misure e viene anche costruito su misura personalizzando sia di geometria regolare che “slope”. Lo sterzo è di tipo “integrato” e la forcella è in fibra di carbonio.

CORUM… steel and passion! A modern interpretation of steel, thanks to artisan construction techniques using TIG welding and the use of 18MCDV6 alloy steel. The CORUM frame is available in 30 sizes and can also be made to measure, customising both the regular geometry and the slope. There is an integrated steering tube, while the fork is in carbon fibre.

Gli estimatori di questo materiale sono molti e, i telai NEO PRIMATO, vengono prodotti per loro ancora artigianalmente come 30 anni fa. I telai sono realizzati da tanti anni con la stessa sapiente tecnica, saldobrasandone le congiunzioni in micro fusione, rifinendo poi a mano tutti gli elementi con attenzione nei dettagli. Questo telaio è la sintesi della più antica tradizione telaistica Italiana e De Rosa ne è il portaban-diera. Forcella in acciaio e disponibilità in 14 taglie.

NEO PRIMATO… eternal! The fascination of steel has remained unchanged over time, despite the arrival of lighter materials. There are still many who value this material and the NEO PRIMATO frames are produced for them with the same artisan care adopted 30 years ago. For many years the frames have been made with the same technical expertise, with micro-fusion welding of joints, followed by finishing of all the elements by hand with attention for every detail. 3-THL… il carattere!Un telaio che nasce per i “praticanti” della disciplina più estrema e impegnativa che è il TRIATHLON. La struttura monoscocca di 3-THL e le fibre utilizzate per la produzione, sono quelle di un telaio da cronometro, dove però si è voluto offrire un prodotto che prediliga anche il comfort e la versatilità, aspetti fondamentali del Triathlon.Il design usato è aggressivo ed emozionante. Le geometrie del telaio e la forcella dedicata rendono 3-THL grintoso. De Rosa mette a disposizione il telaio in 3 taglie.

3-THL… character!A frame developed for those participating in the extremely demanding TRIATHLON disci-pline.The monocoque structure of the 3-THL and the fibres used to produce it are the same used for time-trial frames. However, the product is also intended to offer comfort and versatility, aspects which are fundamental in the triathlon.The design is powerful and dynamic, the geometry of the frame and the fork designed for it giving the 3-THL a feisty appearance. De Rosa offers the frame in 3 sizes.

Le doti citate assieme al peso contenuto ne fanno di CROSS-Carbon Pro un protagonista delle gare fuori strada. Il triangolo principale è realizzato in alluminio con tubazioni a doppi spessori mentre il carro posterio-re è prodotto in fibra di carbonio. CROSS-Carbon Pro è in grado di assorbire senza problemi gli stress tipici del ciclocross.
