Libuacan Cold Spring is good for family/friends get-together. Its swimming area is big with ice-cold water. There's a shallow area for kids and there's a deep part suitable for diving. If you're a daredevil, you may also try exploring its little underground cave (but this isn't advisable for those who don't have background on scuba diving). The place isn't developed.

San Agustin is blessed with 24 is-lands and islets scattered all over Lianga Bay, which faces the Pa-cific Ocean. The group of islands is called Britania, named after its barangay.Britania, an ancient term for Roman Britain, is actually a Latin name derived from the Greek form “Prettanike” or “Bret-taniai,” which means “a collection of islands with individual names.”

Most of the islands are uninhabit-ed with minimal or no vegetation. But all have one thing in common: they are surrounded with crys-tal clear waters. The Geographic Channel featured it as one of the best spots in Asia.

One visitor wrote in Trip Advi-sor: “In my opinion, the Britannia Group of Islands is the next best thing to Boracay in the Philippines in terms of pristine white beaches some people at a time can enjoy. While Boracay has been a popular choice (because of the night life there), this group of islands offers adventurers a real deal and one would give a true appreciation of the spectacular white beaches.

an incredible rock formation near the shore that created three natural basins that when the surf is too high, the waves would fall into the main basin creating a water-fall-like effect. This is already being promoted by the local government as a tourist attraction. But you have to be lucky enough to see the waves create waterfalls because it only happend during October-March, dur-ing the Amihan season. Locals, students and even visi-tors form the nearby towns are already flocking to this place during the weekends. Laswitan is located at Ba-ranggay Madrelino about 5 kilometers away from the Poblacion of Cortes, Surigao del Sur.

Tinuy-an Falls

Tinuy-an Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall in Bislig, Surigao del Sur in the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines.[1] Bislig, is a city known as the Booming City by the Bay. The falls itself has been featured in various Internation-al Travel Magazines and TV shows.

The Tinuy-an falls are 95 m wide and 55 metres (180 ft) high, touted as the little Niagara Falls of the Philippines. Tinuy-an is a white water curtain that flows in three lev-els (with a fourth tier hidden from view) and is said to be the widest waterfall in the Philippines. Every morning, the area shows a rainbow between 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. One may also ride a raft to get close to its cascades and get a water “massage.”
