Apresentação

Esta unidade pedagógica está de acordo com as Diretrizes Curriculares do

ensino de Língua Estrangeira Moderna na qual o ensino de LEM é feito por

meio dos diversos gêneros textuais. O trabalho de leitura, compreensão e

interpretação dos textos propostos nesta unidade é a partir da abordagem

do interacionismo sócio-discursivo. O gênero abordado nesta unidade é o

texto narrativo Contos de fadas que tem o objetivo de desenvolver

habilidades de leitura crítica utilizando as estratégias de leitura definidas

pelas teorias tais como: skimming, scanning, predicting e leitura crítica.

Agregado a isso, os textos dos contos de fadas, em inglês, possibilitam o

desenvolvimento lingüístico discursivo da língua alvo e ampliam as

discussões que envolvem valores éticos e morais, tendo como finalidade

uma possível mudança de atitudes, já que este também é outro aspecto a

ser desenvolvido. As atividades apresentadas na unidade contempla as

capacidades de ação discursiva e lingüístico-discursiva, propostas pelos

estudos dos gêneros textuais.

CONTOS DE FADAS

IMPROVING YOUR KNOWLEDGE!!!

Você sabe a origem dos contos de fadas?

Os contos de fadas, que retratam um mundomaravilhoso, onde duendes, bruxas e fadas fazem parte do

convívio das pessoas, têm passado de geração em geração, comopor exemplo, Branca de Neve e os Sete Anões, Cinderela , A Bela Adormecida e muitos outros. De acordo com alguns autores os contos de fadas nasceram na Pérsia e tiveram origem numa região que o povo Celta habitava, sendo propagados oralmente de tempos

em tempos, tornaram-se presentes no contexto da literatura impressa. Os contos de fadas antes dedicados às “mademoiselles” da corte, tornaram-se parte do acervo da literatura

infantil. Perpetuados por Perralt, Grimm e Andersen, estes contos se incorporaram à literatura infantil, por poderem muitas vezes representar o mundo da criança. Além da presença do maravilhoso, os contos de fadas também possuem finalidade educativa,

trabalhando a questão dos valores éticos e morais.

CINDERELLA

Cinderella was a kind and beautiful girl, who lived in a castle. She had a bad stepmother and had two stepsisters that were ugly and weren’t very nice.

After the death of her father, the Queen, her stepmother ordered Cinderella to do all the housework. She had to work as a maid and her two stepsisters lived as princess.

One day the King from another county invited all the girls around to a ball, because his soon, a handsome prince wanted to choose a girl to marry him.

Cinderella wanted to go to the ball, she dressed up her mom’s dress. However her stepmother and stepsisters didn’t want her to go. They left Cinderella in rags. Fortunately her fairy godmother appeared and gave her a dress of her dreams and a big carriage. Then she went to the ball. There, she danced all night with the prince that was a gentle boy. Suddenly the clock began to strike midnight when she went away and left one of her shoes on the stairs.

The prince showed the glass shoe to the Duke and asked him to find the girl who left that shoe because he wanted to marry her, the prince liked her a lot so the Duke looked for her everywhere and found her, he put on her shoe and finally Cinderella and the prince got married and lived in a huge castle. They were happy forever.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White was a beautiful princess. She had the skin as white as the snow, her lips were reddish and her hair was as black as the night.

She lived in a castle with her stepmother, that was beautiful but was also a mean and vain queen.

Snow White grew up and became a young and pretty lady and she had a kind heart. Because of her beauty the queen, her stepmother, called a hunter and ordered him to eliminate her. The hunter took pity on her, she was so beautiful and innocent, so he told Snow White that the mean queen asked him to kill her. Then, he told her to go away and never come back.
