RECTORY OFFICE - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

FATHER’S DAY NOVENA OF MASSES Beginning June 16th and ending June 24th, remember fathers, grandfathers, fathers-in-law, stepfathers, friends, both living and deceased. What better way to thank and honor them than to have a No-vena of Masses offered for their intentions. Mass cards are available in the Narthex. Please fill them out and return in the collection basket or drop off at the Rectory by June 14th.

As you may have heard, Fr. Zacarias will be leaving us. He will be going back to El Salvador to his Diocese of Sonsonate after 12 years of service with the Diocese of Arlington, three of them in our parish. On Saturday June 22, we will be having a farewell at the gym, after the 6:30pm Mass. We invite you all to wish Fr, Zacarias the very best with his new assignments.

Rev. J. Kevin O’Keefe.

Pastor

Attention all men. Here is a chance to help you become the man God intended you to be. Father Thomas will provide and guide us through twice a month talks that we’ll be able to put into practice in our daily lives. Overall, each session will build on previous sessions. However, each session also stands alone. For more information go to the OLA parish website or email: [email protected]. Remaining session: Session 11, on Wednesday, June 12, at St. Sophia Room, from 7:00 to 8:30pm.

During the month of June, the OLA Altar Server Ministry is inviting all young gentle-men who have received their first Holy Com-munion to deepen their relationship with our Eucharistic Lord while assisting with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass by becoming altar serv-ers. For those interested, please send an email to [email protected]. There will be training provided for new servers on June 11, 2019 from 7:00 to 8:30 in the Church. God bless you!
