Atezolizumab vs. Docetaxel in NSCLC
Nivolumab in NSCLC CA209-003 Phase I Study
Brahmer et al. AACR 2017
Verdade
detectadas
Mito
Immunotherapy vs. Docetaxel
• Response (RECIST v1.1) assessed at week 9 and every 6 weeks thereafter
• Response rate: 19% nivolumab vs. 12% docetaxel
• Median time to response: 2.1 months for nivolumab vs. 2.6 months for docetaxel
Borghaei et al. NEJM 2015
non-SCC - CheckMate 057
Verdade
• Tempo mediano para resposta a nivolumabe semelhante a docetaxel
• Pseudoprogressão é um fenômeno comum em
CPNPC tratado com imunoterapia
Mito
Pseudoprogression in Solid Tumors - anti-PD1/PD-L1
Chiou et al. J Clin Oncol 2015
• Majority of existing trials used immune response criteria determined by investigator as a corollary to the RECIST criteria (71%)
• Ir Response criteria were referenced for clinical decision making in the event of mixed response
• Combined analysis showed 44 of 1,126 total patients with ir response not initially reported by RECIST - approximate overall incidence of 4%
• Most commonly reported pattern was a decrease in target tumor lesions in the presence of new lesions
• Head-to-head comparison of RECIST criteria and immune-related response criteria was performed in less than a third of the studies (four of 14 studies), with similar response rates
Pseudoprogression in NSCLCs - anti-PD1/PD-L1
Presented By Dickran Kazandjian at 2016 ASCO Annual Meeting
Verdade
