Pela segunda vez neste ano, o Setor de Música da Biblioteca Nacional superiormente dirigido por D. Mer-cedes Reis Pequeno, promove uma exposição comemo-rativa : a do bicentenário da morte de Georg Friedrich Haendel.

A presente mostra consta de documentos vários sobre a vida e a obra do imortal compositor, tendo sido dado especial relevo ao grande oratório "Messias".

Desta íorma a B. N„ embora modestamente, se associa às comemoraçõees que se íazem no mundo inteiro em honra do insigne Mestre do Oratório.
