Equivale ao futuro do presente do indicativo

• Verbo auxiliar:

• WILL ou ‘LL (se afirmativo)

• WILL NOT ou WON’T (se negativo)

• Obs.: will não tem tradução – apenas indica que o verbo principal está no futuro.

Formação:

• SUJ + WILL + VERBO PRINCIPAL

• SUJ + WILL NOT + VERBO PRINCIPAL

• WILL + SUJ + VERBO PRINCIPAL ?

Obs.: para todas as pessoas

• I will play• you will play• he will play• she will play• it will play• we will play• they will play

• I will not play• you will not play• he will not play• she will not play• it will not play• we will not play• they will not play

Advérbios de tempo

• Tomorrow – amanhã

• Next week – próxima semana

• Next Sunday – próximo domingo

• In 2030 – em 2030

• The day after – no dia seguinte

Exemplos:

• We will go downtown next Friday.

• (Nós iremos ao centro da cidade na próxima sexta-feira.)

• The singer will play the song again.

• (O cantor tocará a música novamente.)
