Rubens J. Covello é Chief Executive Officer da maior instituição acreditadora em saúde do país, o IQG, comandando também a Instituição Internacional Accreditation Canada no Brasil. Rubens é graduado em Medicina e Administração de Empresas e trouxe o conceito Acreditação para o Brasil há 15 anos. Rubens é pós-graduado em Administração Hospitalar e possui MBA em Gestão da Qualidade. Com todo este background e influência, hoje é membro do Conselho Mundial da Qualidade, membro do Núcleo Saúde da Câmara de Comércio Brasil-Canadá e membro do Conselho Técnico Internacional da Accreditation Canada, no Canadá. Em sua liderança, o IQG tornou-se único membro Institucional da ISQua no Brasil e único Node do Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI – EUA) na América Latina, com a implementação da Campanha “Vamos Salvar 5 Milhões de Vidas” no país. Através de inúmeros projetos, Rubens J. Rubens J. Covello is the Chief Executive Officer of the largest accreditation institution in healthcare in the country, the IQG, also heading the Accreditation Canada in Brazil. His background is in Medicine and Business Administration and has brought to Brazil the accreditation concept 15 years ago. He is post-graduated in Healthcare Administration with MBA in Quality Management. Because of all his background and influence, today he is member of the World Concil of Quality, member of the Healthcare Node of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CCBC) as well as member of the International Technical Advisory Committee of the Accreditation Canada, in Canada. Under his leadership, IQG became the only member of ISQua in Brazil and the only Node of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI – USA) in Latin America, implementing the campaign “Saving 5 Million Lives” in the country. Throughout uncountable projects of success, Rubens J. Covello has been contributing a lot for decreasing harm to the patients and improving care with the construction of a Quality and Patient Safety culture in all over Brazil.
