DINOFLAGELADOS DE LA CALETA DE PUCUSANA (OPTO y PROV LIMA)

Diecinueve especies de Dinoflagelados marinos son registradas para Pucusana Departamento de Lima Peruacute Estas pertenecen a los siguientes geacuteneros Prorocentrum (1 spl Dinophysis (3 spp) Pyroeystis (1 spl Gonyaulax (2 sppl Peridinium (8 sppl Y Ceratium ( 5 spp) Cinco de eacutestos no fueron registro dos en trabajos publicados poro el Peruacute

INTRODUCCION
En nuestro paiacutes no se han realizado estudios acerca de los Dinoflagelados grupo importante de la biota marina Soacuteshylo encontramos referencias en los trabashyjos de Landa (1953) Barreda (1957) Mendiola et al 0963L Acleto y Goacutemez (1967) y Strickland (1969) en relacioacuten al estudio del fitoplancton o al anaacutelisis del contenido estomacal de algunos peshyces comerciales
El presente estudio cualitativo se bashysa estrictamente en la coleccioacuten hecha por Acleto entre Octubre de 1966 a Seshytiembre de 1967 Parte de este material fue enviado a la Divisioacuten de Biologiacutea de la Universidad de Tennesee Ohio para su identificacioacuten
La coleccioacuten analizada contiene 6 geacuteshyneros con 19 especies siendo los geacuteneros moacutes representativos Peridinium (8 spp) y Ceratium (5 sppJ Se anticipa que el total de especies registradas puede ser ampliada de tiempo en tiempo en relacioacuten con nuevos muestreos en la zona de estudio
Las especies registradas estaacuten distrishybuidas sistemaacuteticamente y provistas de la ilustracioacuten respectiva
MATERIAL Y METODOS
El material estudiado forma parte de la coleccioacuten ficolaacutegica del Herbario San
Marcos (USM) del Museo de Historia bullNatural 11Javier PradoJl Comprende 16
muestras colectadas en la Caleta de Pushycusana - 12925 - 12930 Lat Sur 76944 - 76948 Long Oestel por C Acleto dushyrante un antildeo entre Octubre de 1966 a Setiembre de 1967
Las muestras se obtuvieron en lances superficiales de 10 minutos de arrastre realizadas desde un bote a velocidad de remo se emplearon preferentemente las redes Nos 20 y 25 del tipo manuable El material colectado en frascos de vidrio de 100 mI de volumen fue convenienteshymente numerado y fijado en una solucioacuten de formol al 5 en agua de mar
La identificacioacuten geneacuterica se basoacute en el trabajo preliminar de Acleto y Goacutemez (1967) mientras que la especiacutefica fue hecha por el Dr P E Stofan Los dibujos se real izaron con ayuda de la caacutemara ciashyra Leitz

OBSERVACIOH ADICIOHAL-Los Dinococcales como otras series cocoides de los Dinoflagelados se prapogan por zoosporas y otros par ceacutelulos reproductivas no moacuteviles Las especies de PYROshyCYSTIS estudiadas por Smith (1955) na presenshytan divisioacuten binaria en los estadiacuteas no moacuteviles y soacutelo reproduccioacuten asexual COrt formacioacuten de zoosshyporas o aplonosporas al igual que las especiacutemeshynes de Pucusana
Sin embargo las formas moacuteviles libres con aspecto de GYMHODIHIUM originados a portir de PYROCYSTIS LUHULA siacute se multiplican por dishyvisioacuten binaria Es por este motivo que muchos autores transfieren esta especie a GYMHODImiddot HIUM LUNULA
Su vinculacioacuten con el geacutenera DISSODIHIUM ha quedado adarada elgt relacioacuten a los estad iacuteos quisticos respectivos
