Vivere Fast in the mountains quello che La Sportiva fa da pi di 80 anni, da quando nonno Narciso, probabilmente inconsapevole del seme che stava gettando, riparava in breve tempo zoccoli e scarponi per i boscaioli; fast come la vita di Francesco Delladio tra uninnovazione e laltra con lobiettivo di mettere ai piedi di tutti le scarpe migliori possibili. Rapido, come le tendenze che cambiano continuamente e che La Sportiva tuttoggi punta ad anticipare oltre che cavalcare.

Living Fast in the mountains is what La Sportiva has been doing for the past 80 years, since the early days when grandfather Narciso, probably unaware of the seed he was sowing, first started his quick clog and boot repair service for lumberjacks; Fast is the way of life for Francesco Delladio as he

moves from one innovation to another with the aim of producing the best shoes possible for all types of foot. Rapid, are the constantly changing trends that La Sportiva strive to anticipate and dominate.

Speed conscious, yet never in a hurry, every move no matter how instinctive it may seem, is reasoned and meticulously studied, similar to athletes in a race who make difficult tasks seems so easy. ENVIRONMENT & SOCIAL CARELa Sportiva opera da oltre 85 anni nellaffascinante contesto ambientale della Val di Fiemme, ai piedi delle Dolomiti patrimonio mondiale dellumanit. Tale localizzazione porta con se una responsabilit sociale e ambientale fortemente sentita allinterno dellazienda, che attraverso metodi e processi di lavoro a basso impatto ambientale e certificazioni ISO 9001 e 14001, pone da sempre al primo posto il rispetto ambientale ricercando un approccio quanto pi possibile eco-compatibile: attraverso il riciclo degli scarti di produzione, producendo energia con pannelli fotovoltaici e solari, filtrando le emissioni di CO2 e utilizzando energia proveniente da fonti rinnovabili al 100%. Lazienda ha inoltre attuato le procedure per certificare la filiera produttiva secondo criteri socio-ambientali internazionali divenendo gi nel 2012 Bluesign Member e presentando i primi prodotti interamente cerificati bluesign nel 2014 (base layers, collezione apparel). For over 85 years, La Sportiva has been located within the fascinating scenery of Val di Fiemme, at the foothills of the Dolomites - the natural heritage of humanity. By adopting specific low impact production procedures and the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications, La Sportiva continues to put respect for the environment in primary position. Eco friendly production procedures are employed at all levels including the recycling of production waste material, use of photovoltaic and solar panels to produce energy, the filtering of CO2 emissions and the use of 100% renewable energy sources. The company has also introduced procedures which meet international socio environmental criteria, and in 2012 became a Bluesign Member, presenting the first entirely Bluesign certified products in 2014 (base layers, apparel collection). Since 2013 the company has supported EOCA, the international non-profit organization which provides financial projects for the environmental conservation crucial to the worldwide eco system. I contenuti tecnici di ogni singolo modello La Sportiva sono il frutto di profondi processi di ricerca e sviluppo originati dal continuo scambio di informazioni tra il reparto R&D di Ziano di Fiemme (TN) ed i migliori atleti a livello internazionale. Nascono cos, sul campo, le diverse tecniche costruttive, le tecnologie e le accortezze tecniche che rendono ogni prodotto unico ed insostituibile.

Innovativo sistema applicato alla suola che assorbe limpatto, aiuta in trazione e trattiene in frenata. Concepito e sviluppato dal centro di Ricerca e Sviluppo La Sportiva, offre vantaggi reali durante la corsa riducendo limpatto negativo con il terreno. La particolare disposizione dei tasselli fa in modo che alcuni di essi vengano a contatto per primi con il terreno addolcendo lappoggio del battistrada.

Le mescole La Sportiva Frixion nascono allo scopo di creare dei battistrada con parametri diversi di tenuta e resistenza allusura, declinati sulle singole calzature in base al tipo di utilizzo e terreno. La gamma frixion composta da 4 tipi di mescola:

The technical contents of each La Sportiva model are the fruit of indepth research and development, originating from the constant exchange of information between the R&D department at Ziano di Fiemme (TN) and some of the worlds best athletes. Each shoe is developed using different construction techniques, technologies and technical details which makes each product unique and irreplaceable.

The innovative system is applied to the sole to absorb negative ground impact, help traction and improve grip downhill. Created and developed by the R&D department at La Sportiva, it offers real advantages during racing by reducing negative ground impact. The unique position of the lugs allows as many of them as possible to come into contact with the ground, for maximum impact absorption.

The La Sportiva Frixion stem arose from the desire to create outsoles with increased parametres of hold and durability. This will decline on the basis of types of use and terrain. The frixion range consists of four different types of rubber:

Suole dedicate alla corsa su terreni morbidi e fangosi grazie allo spessore, alla forma e alla distanza dei tasselli che compongono il battistrada.

Versatile soles, ideal for all types of terrain including stone, scree, grass, moss and mud. Ideal for running either in high humidity or on dry ground. incorporates the Impact Brake System.

High performance soles indicated for use on hard and rocky ground. They maintain optimum performance levels even on wet ground thanks to the VA lugs used at crucial points on the sole which keep slipping in check on bends. With Morpho Dynamic Technology.

These soles are particularly suited to racing on soft and muddy ground thanks to the width of the shoe and the distance of the lugs that make up the sole.

A seconda delle performance richieste, le calzature La Sportiva adottano per la costruzione dallintersuola EVA a compressione o EVA ad iniezione. Alcuni modelli La Sportiva Mountain Running adottano intersuole realizzate con EVA ad iniezione che si distingue da quella a compressione per un elevato grado di ammortizzazione ed una migliore elasticit del materiale. Tale propriet permette di ricevere una spinta propulsiva dal terreno durante la corsa, favorendo la corsa su terreni off-road. LEVA ad iniezione inoltre, riduce drasticamente leffetto schiacciamento dellEVA nel tempo, consentendo al prodotto di mantenere le stesse caratteristiche ed elevate performance per tutta la sua durata. Altri modelli La Sportiva adottano lEVA a compressione per le sue doti di stabilit e reattivit utili per corsa su terreni morbidi dove il livello di ammortizzazione richiesto inferiore.

A number of La Sportiva Mountain Running shoes use EVA injected midsoles which differ from the standard compression molded EVA midsoles for a high degree of cushioning and a better elasticity of the fabric. These features assist push off during the propulsion phase while running, making these models ideal for use on off-road trails. Furthermore, EVA injected midsoles drastically reduce the squash effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to maintain the same characteristics and high performance for its entire duration.Some La Sportiva models use standard compression molded EVA midsoles for the durability and reactivity on soft ground where the need for shock absorption is reduced.

This layer is in direct contact with the skin. It must therefore eliminate sweat and keep the skin dry to create optimum climatic comfort during physical activity.
