SafetyBosch extemal vibrators meet the safety requirements laiddown by law concerning technical equipment (German equip-ment safety law), and also the requirements of \lDE 0530/\DE 0113

QualityBosch construction tools are designed for heavy-dutycontinuous opemtion and are manufactured from high-qualitymate¡ials. In line with their specific use, they are designed togive a long service life. The motor windings are Class F, capableof withstanding high thermal loads. The anti-friction bearingsare lubdcated so as to last out the service life ofthe tool.The housings arc proof against impacts and fractures, and over-dimensioned to take heavy punishment on site. These productshave had the full benefit ofBosch's years of experience, andthe precision that comes ftom mass-production techniques.

Operating voltage and frequencyExtemal vibmtors for connection to 50 Hz three-phase a.c. canbe run on 220-2ó0 V or 380-440 V. Extemal vibrators areavailable for all commonly used special voltages and for 60 Hzfrequencies. Extemal vibmton connected to high-frequency200 Hz three-phase a.c. have operating voltages of42 V or250 V depending on design.For countries with 60 Hz three-phase a.c., HF extemalvibrators are available in 180 Hzl230 V and240Hzl300Y.

Connection and operation of external vibratorsThe stipulations goveming the setting up ofpower currentsystems - \{DE 0100 - grant equal status to the followingsystems in accordance with Section 5 N d: protective lowvoluge, protective earthing. zero voltage. protective conductor.earth leakage cúcuit breaker and isolation.

The protective conductors built into extemal vibmtors (atvoltages above 42 \) permit the use of earthing (Section 9 N),zero yoltage (Section l0 N) ofthe protective conductor s)stem(section 11N) oran earth leakage protection circuit (Section 13 N).

The BOSCH 250 V/200 Hz wiring system for HF external vib-mtors enables the advantages provided of smaller cable cross-sections and better-value switching elements to be exploitedto the full. The same goes for LF vibrato$ of 380 V/50 Hz.

Under difficult operating conditions, a BOSCH extemal vibra-tor system can be double safetied with the additional protectionofan earth leakage protection circuit according to Section 13 N.In any case, Section 55 N stipulates the use, among othe¡ things,ofan earth leakage protection circuit on construction sites.The proper functioning ofan earth leakage protective circuitcan be tested at all times by opemting the test pushbutton builtinto the earth leakage protection switch.

Enclosure classExtemal vibrators of50/60 Hz are protected to IP 55.Explosion-proof designs to E EX eII T4-JP 55. HF extemalvibrators are ifr accordance with IP 55 and IP 44.
