AEROPORTO

O Aeroporto Internacional de Confins

(CNF)/Tancredo Neves está localizado na cidade

de Confins – MG, a cerca de 45 km e a 50 minutos

de distância do local da Conferência e dos hotéis

sugeridos.

TÁXI AEROPORTO

Quatro companhias de táxi credenciadas operam

no Aeroporto de Confins das 06h às 02h:

Cooperfins, Coopertramo, Cootramo e Minas Táxi.

O preço do táxi do Aeroporto à região central de

Belo Horizonte varia de $70 a $140 reais, o que

corresponde a $17 a $35 dólares estadunidenses.

Você pode pedir um táxi no saguão dos terminais

1 ou 3, ou no interior das salas de desembarque

doméstico. É possível, ainda, solicitar um carro de

aplicativo na entrada do Terminal 1 ou Terminal 2.

Confins International Airport (CNF)/Tancredo

Neves is located in the city of Confins – MG,

about 45 km (30 miles) and 50 minutes away from

the Conference venue and suggested hotels.

hotels, transfers, and tourism.

AIRPORT TAXI

Four accredited taxi companies operate at

Confins Airport from 6 AM to 2 AM: Cooperfins,

Coopertramo, Cootramo, and Minas Taxi.

The taxi fare from the Confins International Airport

to Belo Horizonte downtown ranges from $70 to

$140 Brazilian reais (or $17 to $35 US dollars).

You can order a taxi from the lobby of terminals 1

or 3, or inside the Domestic Arrivals Hall. You can

also request an “app driver” at the entrance of

Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

In April, the climate in the city of

Belo Horizonte is considered mild,

with sunny days and unlikely to

rain. The temperature ranges from

20 to 30 degrees Celsius (68 to 86

degrees Fahrenheit). HEALTH INFORMATION

We recommend the use of

sunscreen as well as an insect

repellent to avoid mosquitos

(dengue, chikungunya and yellow

fever). The purchase of health

insurance for the length of the stay

Belo Horizonte, capital of the

state of Minas Gerais, is located

in the southeast region of Brazil,

one hour away from Sao Paulo

and Rio de Janeiro. It has about

2.5 million inhabitants and is the

6th most populous city in the

country.

Known for its bohemian culture,

Belo Horizonte is considered the

world capital of bars but also

stands out for its cuisine, being

granted the title of Creative City of

Gastronomy by Unesco in 2019.

Full of parks and squares, Belo

Horizonte is the third most

forested city in Brazil.

The mountains of the Serra do

Curral surrounding the city justify

its name that means “Beautiful

Horizon”. Nature blends with

modern architecture, highlighting

the works of Oscar Niemeyer, the

which received the title of World

one of the main tourist

attractions of Belo Horizonte

and, around it, there are

several museums and

Cultural Circuit, such as the

Centro Cultural Banco do

Metal, both with free

entrance.

Pampulha Architectural

consists of works by great

Belo Horizonte Central

Market · Located in the city

center, the Central Market

has more than 400 stores

that sell typical products of

Minas Gerais gastronomy

and local handicrafts. It is

the most visited spot in BH.

Afonso Pena Avenue Art

and Craft Fair · The largest

open-air fair in Latin America

takes place on Sunday

mornings in Belo Horizonte,

gathering around 60,000

visitors and 3,000 exhibitors

each week. A variety of

handicrafts and gastronomy

items can be found.

Mineirão · The Governador

Magalhães Pinto Stadium,

known as Mineirão, is the

largest soccer stadium in

Minas Gerais and hosts the

Brazilian Soccer Museum.

Inhotim · Home to one of

the most important

collections of contemporary

art in Brazil, the Inhotim

Institute is the largest open-

air museum in the world,

blending the artwork with its

botanical garden. The

Institute is located in the city

of Brumadinho-MG, 60 km

(67 mi) from Belo Horizonte.
