REVISÕES DE
LITERATURA
revisões não sistemáticas (jornalísticas ou
narrativas)
Falha no exame
Reprodutibilidade
descritiva.
Usa métodos estatísticos para
combinar os resultados dos
estudos
Método, objetivo, hipótese
Variáveis semelhantes
Por que é necessário a RSL?
O volume de material publicado torna
impraticável para um indivíduo para manter-se
atualizado sobre uma variedade de condições
comuns.
Isto é ainda mais complicada quando os
estudos individuais relatam conclusões
conflitantes,
um problema que é predominante quando
amostras pequenos são usados. "
O autor de uma boa RSL…
Formular questões, explicitar o objetivo da pesquisa e
definir o escopo
Conduzir a busca pela literatura
Refinar a pesquisa aplicando métodos de inclusão e
exclusão
Extrair dados apropriados
RSL quantitativas (metanálise) aumentam a precisão do
resultado global

Introduction
Fuzzy Front End (FFE) of New Product Development (NPD)
is critical for project success and effectively managing
It is one of the most important and difficult challenges
innovation managers can face.
Whereas there have already been several excellent review
articles about NPD, this study will be the first one to look
specifically on the relations of the FFE in NPD and company
size.

Aagaard, (2012, p. 457) “Front end innovation (FEI) represents the first building blocks of
product development”
Creusen et al., (2013, p.
81-82)
“This FFE consists of activities such as product strategy formulation,
opportunity identification and analysis, idea generation and enrichment,
idea selection, concept development, and informal or prescreening"
Griffin et al., (2009, p.
225)
“The FFE is the messy ‘‘getting started’’ period of product development,
when the product concept is still very fuzzy. It precedes the more
formal product development process and is where customer needs are
understood, needs are creatively translated to technical possibilities,
and creative solutions are generated.”

Alguns pensamentos
Why do academics present Lean Product
Development as something new or different?
Is it a matter of management fashions, as
Abrahamson and Fairchild contend?
Or is it simply that academics have to ‘sell’ themselves
to practitioners, as Micklethwait and Wooldridge
assert?
It is up to you!

Some thoughts
I am not saying that lean is not good, I am just saying that
lean product development is not new!
“I have read your preprints, both of them. The one on
Nazi ciphers and other one on nonlinear equations and I
am supremely that there is not a single seminal or
innovative idea in either of them”.
