আমরা সবাই একসে� ভিত� হইিন। �কউ প�ম ��িণেত ,�কউ স�ম ��িণেত আবার �কউবা নবম ��িণেত। িক� �� ল�থেক �বর হেয়িছ একসে�। সাল� ১৯৯৯। ওই বছররাজধানীর অন�তম িশ�া�িত�ান উইলস িলটল �াওয়ার�� ল অ�া� কেলজ �থেক আমরা মাধ�িমক পাস কির। এরপরএেককজন ভিত� হই এেকক কেলেজ �াভািবকভােবই কেমআেস িনেজেদর মেধ� �যাগােযাগ। িক� মেনর টান �কই�থেক �গেছ। তাইেতা �� ল পােসর ২০তম বছের এেসিনেজেদর মেধ� কােনক�িভ� বাড়ােনার এক� �য়াসিনেয়িছ। আর তা হে� িনরান�ই ব�ােচর ব�ুেদর িনেয়এক� ওেয়ব ম�াগািজন �বর করা । যিদও অিভধােন শ��খুঁ েজ পাওয়া যােব না , িক� িনরান�ইেয়র সে� িমিলেয়ম�াগািজন�র নাম �রেখিছ ‘িনরা� ’। এই ম�াগািজনকােনকেটড থাকার পাশাপািশ ব�ুেদর সািহত�চচ� ারও এক���াটফম� িহেসেব গেড় উঠেব বেলই মেন কির। �থম সংখ�ায় থাকেছ ছয়জন ব�ুর ছয় ধরেনর �লখা।শািকরা িতথী  তঁার �লখায় �শশব ও �� লজীবেনর �ৃিতচারণাকেরেছন। শাহানা িলিপ ও ফাহিমদা হায়দারও �� লজীবেনরনানা অিভ�তার কথা ত� েল ধেরেছন তঁােদর �লখায়। মাহতাবতািমেমর �লখায় দুই যুেগর িশ�া প�িতর �সৗ�য�  িলিপব�হেয়েছ। সাইফুল আিসফ ত� েল ধেরেছন �� েলর প� �থেক�থমবােরর মেতা িবেদশ �মেণর অিভ�তা। িরয়ােদর�লখায় উেঠ এেসেছ এক� হািরেয় যাওয়া স�াবনার িচ�। ধন�বাদ িদি� সবাইেক যঁারা আমােদর এই �ু� �য়াসেকউৎসাহ িদেয় এিগেয় িনেত সাহায� কেরেছন। তারাআগামীেতও এভােবই আমােদর অনুে�রণা �জাগােবন , এটাইআমােদর �ত�াশা। সবাইেক ইংেরিজ নববেষ�র অসংখ��েভ�া। �েভ�াে� স�াদকম�লী

সময় ব� বহমান আর চলমান নদীর মতন|মেন হয় এখন  জীবেনর মাঝ পেথ চেলএেসিছ আর এর �ক�িব�ুেত দঁািড়েয় িবশবছর িপিছেয় �গেল  িফের �যেত হয় �সই�শশব আর �কেশাের �ঘরা �সই �� ল জীবেন|�� ল জীবেনর আেবদনটাই �যন একট�অন�রকম۔۔  একট�   িন�াথ� একট� িনেভ� জালব�ু� আর �ৃিতেত পিরপূণ� | অেনক  কথাই মেন পেড়! অন�েদর ত� লনায়আিম িকছ� টা �বিশ িশ�সুলভ িছলাম|পড়া�না আর তারপর বািড়েত িগেয়�খলাধুলার মােঝই �যন সব আন� খুঁ েজ�পতাম| খুব িম�ক িছলাম �সটাও আমার খুবমেন আেছ| �� েলর িশ�ক আর িশি�কােদরখুব ��হ আর ভােলাবাসা �পেয়িছলাম| হােতর �লখা �য খুব সু�র িছল তা িক� নয়|িক� মােলক স�ার বলেতন আমার �লখানািকমালার মেতা সু�র! �লখা আবার িকভােবমালার মেতা হয় �সটা অবশ� আমার জানা�নই| হাহা! আমার �চেয় সুি�তার �লখাঅেনক �বিশ সু�র িছল| �রাজািরও স�ারবলেতন আমার �লখা নািক �েগ�র দূেতর�লখা-হা হা| এ� �শংসা পাবার পর আিমআমার �লখার িদেক তািকেয় থাকতাম আরহাসতাম  কারণ আমার �লখা আমার খুবএকটা ভােলা লাগেতা না| মােরর ও িকছ� ইিতহাস আেছ| �াস �ফােরবারা�ায় দঁািড়েয় �ব�নী ফুল �দখিছলাম|

ম�াডােমর কথা �নেত পাইিন | অন�মন�িছলাম۔۔পােয় ��ল িদেয় িপটােনা ��করেলন!! �াস নাইন এ িক িনেয় �যন আমরাসবাই খুব �হেসিছলাম; ۔۔ স�ার �ায় সবারহােত  ��ল িদেয় মারেলন| সবেচেয় খারাপভােব মার �খেয়িছলাম পু� ম�াডােমর হােত|ম�াডাম আমােক খুব আদর করেতন|পরী�ার সময় িপছেনর �মেয়� আমােকঅংেকর ফলাফল িজে�স কেরিছল| এট� কুই!ম�াডাম শরীেরর সম� শি� িদেয় আমােকএকটা থা�ড় মারেলন �ধু  ঘাড় ঘুিরেয়িছবেল۔۔۔মাইেরর মেধ� নািক িভটািমন থােক |িক� আমার মি�ে�র িভতরটা খুব ফঁাকালাগিছেলা| ল�ায় অপমােন আিম মাথাত� লেত পারিছলাম না| এভােব �কও কখেনাআমােক মােরিন| ম�াডাম আমােক খুবভােলাবাসেতন| একিদন আমােক আদর কেরবুেক জিড়েয় িনেলন| িক জািন!! আমার �� ল জীবেন �রজা�  িশট এ ভ� েলরকারেণ �রজা� উ�াপা�া হেয় �যত| মেনআেছ আমার ۔۔�াস �ফার এ আমার �রজা�িশট এ �যাগফেল একশত ন�র ভ� লকেরিছেলন ম�াডাম| অথ�াৎ ৮৫০এর �ােন৭৫০ িলেখিছেলন ۔পের আমার �রজা�উ�াপা�া হেয় �গেলা| �াস এইট এ বািষ�কপরী�ার ফলাফল  এ �যাগফল এ পঁাচ ন�রকম �দয়া হেয়িছল|   তখন ও আমার�রজাে�র �হরেফর হেয় �গেলা| আমার খুব সেচতন ম�াডাম খুব লি�ত ওিব�ত  িছেলন| তেব �াস �সেভন এ ব�াপার� িছল অন�রকম| সািদয়া িছলআমার ঘিন� ব�ু িক� পড়া�নায় আমােদরমেধ� �িতেযািগতা িছল| �সবার সািদয়া �থমহেলা আর আিম হলাম ি�তীয়| আমার ভ� েল

ভরা �� েলর  �রজা� আিম আবার �যাগকরলাম| এইবার উে�া ঘটনা ঘটেলা| ম�াডামদুই ন�র �বিশ �যাগ কের �ফলেলন| অথ�াৎদুই ন�র কেম �গেল আিম তৃতীয় হেয় যােবাতারপরও সততার সােথ ম�াডােমর কােছ�গলাম| ম�াডাম রাগ িনেয় বলেলন- মানুষন�র �পেল খুিশ হয় আর এই  চাষা (অথ�াৎকৃষক)۔۔এই হারামী এেসেছ ন�র কমােত|আমার মাথায় আকাশ �ভেঙ পড়েলা| সততা�দখালাম! এই বুিঝ তার পুর�ার! এ �তা�দখিছ িতর�ার| �ােসর সবাই তািকেয়িছল ,  �কউ  হাসিছেলা , �কউ  তািকেয়িছেলা|আিম বড় �চােখ তািকেয়িছলাম| অ�ম ��ণীেত �সবার আিম �থম �ান অজ�নকরলাম| তখন ওই একই ম�াডাম আমােদর�াস আবার িনেলন| িতিন পুেরা �ােসরসবাইেক বলেতন ۔সবাই �তামরা শাহানারমেতা  হও| এই কথাটা উিন কেয়কবারবেলিছেলন| আর এটা �নেলই আমার মুেখথাকেতা দু� মুচিক হািস িকংবা আড়ােল িগেয়িখল িখল কের হাসতাম| �থম হওয়ােত হারামী  �থেক পুেরা িন�াপ  �ফের�া হেয়�গলাম| হা হা ۔۔ব�িদন এই ঘটনা� আমােকভািবেয়িছেলা| একজন �চার �কন সততারঅবমূল�ায়ন করেলন!! িক� আিম পেরঅনুধাবন করলাম  একজন িশ�ক িকংবািশি�কাও �দােষ �েন ভরা মানুষ| এটাই�াভািবক িনয়ম| �� ল জীবন  �শেষ আিম িভকা�নিনসাকেলজ এ ভিত� হলাম| ওখােন কথায়  কথায়�চােখ আ�ুল িদেয় বুিঝেয় �দয়া হেতা িভিকরাঅথ�াৎ ওখানকার ছা�ীরা সব িদক িদেয় ���| িক� উইলস এর �সই িন�াথ�   ধূেলাভরা

�� ল জীবেনর আেবদনটাই �যনএকট� অন�রকম.. একট� িন�াথ�একট� িনেভ�জাল ব�ু� আর

�ৃিতেত পিরপূণ�

আমার মাথায় আকাশ �ভেঙপড়েলা| সততা �দখালাম! এইবিুঝ তার পুর�ার! এ �তা

মােঠ আমার মন পেড় থাকেতা| �কমন �যনিশকেড়র টােনর মেতা| সব �ৃিত�েলাহাতছািন িদেয় ডাকেতা| িনেজর অমেনােযাগীতা আর খামেখয়ালী�ভােবর কারেণ উ� মাধ�িমক পরী�ায়আিম িকছ� টা খারাপ �রজা� করলাম; কােছরব�ুরা  পােশ  থাকেলা না| সব মানুষই দূেরচেল �গেলা| |মা� আঠােরা বছর বয়েস আিমক�ন সত� বা�বতার মুেখামুিখ হলাম |�সই�থেক আিম এক বদেল যাওয়া মানুষ |কােরাকােছ আিম িবতিক� ত , কােরা কােছসমােলািচত িকংবা পিরিচত মহেল আিমিকছ� টা পাগলােট মানুষ িহেসেবই পিরিচত |�মােটর  উপর আিম ভীষণ �গায়ার �কৃিতরএকজন |খুঁ েজ �বড়াই অেনক �ে�র উ�র�ক আিম? আর �কন? িক উে�েশ� আিম۔۔۔۔এই পৃিথবীেত! এসব ভাবগ�ীর কথা , �� েলর পাতায়�বমানান | �সসব কথা হয়েতা �লখা হেব অন��কােনা পাতায় ۔۔۔۔

�ছেলেবলা

ব�ু� জীবেনর অমর ব�ন , যা কখন ও ন�হয় না। ছা�জীবেন এবং কম� জীবেন অেনকব�ু �পেয়িছ , িক� �শশেবর ব�ুেদর ত� লনাহয় না। �শশেবর ব�ু�েক আিম মেন কিরজীবেনর সবেচেয় বড় ও ��� ব�ু�। ঐসময়টা মানুষ তার �ােথ� র উে�� থােক।�কেশাের ও তারপের ব�ু অেনেকই হয় তেব�বশীরভাগ ��ে� িকছ� না িকছ� �ােথ� র গ��লেগ থােক স�েক� র সােথ। �ছাটেবলায় (�� লজীবন ��র আেগ) যারা ব�ু িছল তারাআজ ও আেছ , িনয়িমত না হেল ও মােঝমেধ�ই �যাগােযাগ হয়। আমার এই উইলস�াওয়ার �� েলর অেনক ব�ুেক হািরেয়�ফেলিছলাম িক� উ�ত �যুি�র কল�ােণআবার তােদর খুঁ েজ পাওয়া স�ব হেয়েছ।ব�ুে�র �কান বয়স �নই। �েয়াজন-অ�েয়াজেন ব�ুই িব�� আ�য় . . . �� ল , ব�ু , �শশব সবিকছ� ই আবার িফের�পেত ইে� কের। িক� তা �তা হওয়ার নয়।সমেয়র ��াত অতীত িফিরেয় �দয় না। তাই�ৃিত হাতেড় �বঁেচ থাকেত হয় জীবনভর। সাফেল�র মুকুট যু� এেকর পর এক নত� নপালক। আমার জীবেনর �শশব আর�কেশােরর ���পূণ� সময়টা �কেটেছ এই�� েলর আিঙনায়। তখন �তমন একটা নাবুঝেলও বড় হওয়ার পর �� েলর সােথ আমারজীবেনর স�ক� টা গভীর ভােব উপলি�করেত স�ম হেয়িছ।

এখােনই আিম �পেয়িছ িশ�েকর আদর ��হআর ব�ু� আর �াতৃে�র এক অপূব� ব�ন ,এখােনই ঘেটেছ আমার জীবনাভ� িমর িব�ার;যা আমার এ �ু� জীবনেক কেরেছ অথ� বহ।এই �� ল আমার কােছ পিরবার সম , জীবনদশ� েন পিরবার �থেকও �বিশ িকছ� । এক এে�এক , দুই এে� দুই– নামতা পড়া ,TheRadiant way book, English Grammar,আমার বই , সাধারন গিনত এ�েলা িনেয় িছলএক একটা �ৃিত। �সই �ছা� �বলা �থেক মা বলেতন �জাের�জাের পড় , মুখ� হেব। সিত�ই হত। সহজপােঠর পদ� , গদ� , নামতা , বাংলা ব�করেণসমাস , সি� আরও কত িক। আরও বড় হেতথাকার পর ব�বসা পিরিচিত , ব�বসািয়কভ� েগাল , িহসাব িব�ান সব দুেল দুেল পড়াআর মুখ� করা। �য যতই উ� িশ�ায়িশি�ত �হাক না �কন �� ল জীবন এর এইিনয়ম কের বঁাধা ছেক পড়ােশানার কথা �ভালাকা�র পে� স�ব নয়। এখন যখন অিফস �থেক ছ�� হয় , অথবা সারািদন �তেত পুেড় রা�া ঘর �থেক একট�িব�াম , একট� ছ�� তখন মেন হয় কলুরবলেদর মেতা �টেন িনেয় যাওয়া জীবেনর�থেক একটা িদন ছ�� হল। সিত�ই িক �স ছ��আসেল ছ��? না ছ�� নােম �কােনা �হসন?এই ছ�� িছল পেরর িদেনর �ছাটাছ� �র এক��িত। আসল ছ�� িছল �সিদন �যিদন ছ��রঘ�া বাজার আেগর �শষ ১৫ িমিনট পড়ায়মন বসত না। মেন হেতা আমােক িনেয়যাওয়ার জন� আ�ু অথবা আ�ু (পের অবশ��� ল ভ�ান িদেয় যাতায়াত কেরিছ) দঁািড়েয়আেছন �গেটর বাইের হয়েতা  আমার বায়না�মটােত ঝালমুিড় , আচার , আইসি�ম এরবায়না। ও ছ�� িছল সিত� আনে�র।অনািবল আন�। যােক �ধু কেয়ক� শে��বঁেধ �কাশ করা মুশিকল। �� ল , ব�ু , �শশবসবিকছ� ই আবার িফের �পেত ইে� কের।িক� তা �তা হওয়ার নয়। সমেয়র ��াতঅতীত িফিরেয় �দয় না। তাই �ৃিত হাতেড়�বঁেচ থাকেত হয় জীবনভর।

এই জন� �তা আমার িশ�কতা জীবেনর সােথআমার ছা�জীবেন �ফেল আসা িকছ� িজিনসআমার িপছ� ছােড়িন। যা আমার ছিবেত কথাবেল।

বত� মান এই যুেগ পৃিথবীর সবেচেয় ক�নকাজ হে� গ� �লখা। আর এই ক�ন কাজএখন করেত হে� আমার �� ল জীবেনর�থম ব�ু কমেলর অনুেরােধ। যাই �হাক , এইউিসলায় আমার একটা �লখা �তা িলখা হেলা।এখন , িবষয় হে� , িক িনেয় িলখেবা - খুেজপাি� না। �ছাটকাল হেতই আিম�লখােলিখেত মা�ািতির� দুব�ল , তার �মানহে� �যখােন আিম �ম�েক অে� �পেয়িছলাম১০০ �ত ১০০ , সমাজিব�ােন �পেয়িছলাম৪১। যাইেহাক , �যেহত� �� ল জীবেনর ব�ুরাএকসােথ �লখা জমা িদি� , �সেহত� �� লজীবেনর কেয়কটা �ৃিতচারণ কির। আিম উইলেস ভিত� হই �াস ওয়ান-এ।�ছাটকাল হেত “পরী�ার আেগ পরী�াথ�”হবার কারেণ আমার মার মেন শ�া , তাই�� েলর বাংলা �চার “মমতাজ ম�াম” এরকােছ �উশেন ভিত� হলাম। হবার পর�দখলাম আমার মত দুইটা �দু�দু বা�া ,একটা কােলা আর আেরকটা সাদা। কথা�সে� জানেত পারলাম , একটার নাম হে�িরগ�ান আর আেরকটার নাম কমল। এইিপি� কমল ওই সময় অিমতােভর িসিরয়াসফ�ান িছল আর তার �ফবােরট গান িছল “মাই�নম ইজ এ�িন গ�ারিভস”। কমল আমারমতই �লেবি�স �� েড� িছল , িক� িরগ�ান ,ওের বাবা , �সই �� েড� িছল আর িছলআমার মার কােছ আইডল , মা খািল বলত ,�দখ িরগ�ানেক , সব পাের। ওেক �দেখ িকছ�িশেখা। িক� িক িশখেবা তা িচ�া করেতকরেত �াস ি� �ত উেঠ মমতাজ ম�ােমরকােছ পড়া �ছেড় িদলাম।

পরবত�েত আমার ব�ু হল সজীব আরসােহদ , আমার মতই �লেবি�স , িকছ� টা কম।একসােথ বসতাম , �িফন �শয়ার করতাম ,পড়া�না করতাম আর ইেয় মােন , পরী�ারসময় একসােথ নকল করতাম। যাই �হাক ,ভাগ��েম , আমার যত ব�ু হেয়েছ �� েল , তাপয�ায়�েম ফ�ািমিল ��ে�র মতই হেয়িগেয়িছলাম। আহা! �সইসব িদন�েলা। �� েল এক জঘন� ক�াি�ন িছল , �যখােন শ�িচেকন বারগার পেনর বা িবশ টাকায় পাওয়া�যত। আর বাইের পাওয়া �যত আচার।�গেটর িনেচ হেত ২ টাকা িদেয় �জাস সবআচার �খতাম। ২ টাকাই তখন খুবমহামুল�মান িছল। আর পঁাচ টাকার �কানকথাই নাই। আিম মগবাজার �থেক পঁাচটাকায় িরকশায় উইলেস আসতাম। আর িবশটাকা মােন �তা িবশাল বড়েলাক। �� েলর ইউিনফম� িছল সাদা শাট� আর নীলপ�া�। দুইটা শাট� আর দুইটা প�া� িদেয় বছরপার করতাম। নত� ন বছের নত� ন শাট� আরপ�া�। জীবেনর উে�খেযাগ� সময় সাদা আরনীল রেঙই পার কের িদেলও এটা  দুই রঙইআমােদর �ছাটেবলা সকল রেঙ রিঙন কের�রেখিছল । এেকই বেল �� ল জীবন। আমােদর �� ল জীবনটা িছল অেনক সাধারন।আমার মেন পের , যখন আিম �াস ফাইভ এতখন বাসায় িডেশর লাইন �দয়া হয়। এটািনেয় , আমার উে�জনার �শষ িছেলানা। �� েলএটা িনেয় আমার কত গব� , ব�ুেদর বলতাম ,এই �তার বাসায় িডশ আেছ , নািক �ধু বাংলা�দখস? আর এখন , আমার �মেয় নাস�ািরেতআই-প�াড িনেয় গব� কের , হাউ ��ােজিড!!! আমার �মেয়র �� ল জীবন আর আমার �� লজীবেনর মেধ� সবেচেয় বড় পাথ�ক� হে�পিরপ�তা। আমরা �ছাটেবলায় �কােনািকছ��দেখ বা �েন খুব অবাক হতাম আরএখনকার বা�ারা �দিখ সব জােন বা বুেঝ।এটা সিত� �য , এখনকার বা�ারা আমােদরসমেয়র �চেয় অেনক এিগেয় িশ�ায় আর�ােন , কারণ পৃিথবী এখন তােদর হােতর

মুেঠায়।িক� , আমােদর সমেয়র ক�ােসেটরিফতা প�াচােনার জীবেনর মজা এখনকারবা�ারা �টর পােবনা �যমন� আমরা �টরপাইিন আমােদর বাবা মার ১২ িকেলািমটার�হেট �� েল যাবার মজা।

Willes United Club, Willes Little Flower School– A name for many memories. The club wasestablished by SSC 1994 batch, chaired byBimal Sir, consisted of three wings namingWilles Debating Club, Willes Cultural Club andWilles Science Club. Willes United Cluborganized many debate, cultural and sciencecompetitions within school campus for intra-class competition as well as to compete withother schools from around Dhaka city.

Again, we participated in many schools orcolleges through this Willes United Club tocompete with other schools. In manycompetitions among other schools we gotprizes which brought glory to Willes LittleFlower School. Even we participated inBangladesh Television Debate Competition.But alas!!! Where is that club now???

Every activity in school life plays a significantrole in mental development of students. Co-curricular activities are an essential part ofschool life and helps in enhancing learningprocess of students at school, thus it becomescompulsory activities where every studentshould participate. Co-curricular are designedand balanced with academic curriculum sothat every student gets to learn beyondsubjects. Co-curricular activities are meant to bringsocial skills, intellectual skills, moral values,personality progress and character appeal instudents. It includes athletics, cultural events,Library activities, science lab activities,classroom activities, creative arts andmeditation etc. For these perspectives our club wasestablished. At that time many other schoolslike Govt. Lab, Viqarunnisa Noon School, IdealSchool, Udayan School, Motijheel Model,Central Govt. School and so on played asignificant role in organizing and participatingin many competitions. We along with thoseschools also played the same role. A healthycompetition among students of differentschools prevailed along with educationalcurriculum. Personally I got two prizes along with my teamin two science fairs which were held in ourschool and Notre Dame College respectively.We were given certificates and medals in theassembly in front of all day shift studentswhich inspired the entire school. Again, wefelt proud being honored in such a manner. In2002, we organized an Art Competition and 

Science Fair in our school which was thebiggest event so far at that time. We handedover the charge to the 2002 batch. At thattime our club was led by Bimal sir, MomtazMadam, Uttam sir followed by Khalid Mahmud,Wazedur Rahman, Arif-Ur-Rahman,Mahmudun Nabi, Shahidur Rahman, ShanjidaFatema, Farah Nigar, Al Amin Pervez, B.M.Fahim Rahman and Fahim Rashid of 1999batch. Now a days we are confronting with many newtype of incidents or new terms. BUET Abrarkilling due to lack of debating mentality,‘Kishore Gang’ of school-college students dueto lack of practicing extra-curricularactivities, there is no scientists grown fromBangladesh due to lack of science relatedactivities, , there is no new culturally educatedcelebrities like Humayun Ahmed, HumayunFaridi, Runa Laila and so on due to lack ofcultural healthy competition. Once our schoolhad this tradition of extra-curricularactivities. Students now a days spend timewith different gadgets , going to fast-food

shops and hanging out at resorts. But so far Iknow this Willes United Club lost its waytowards creating creative and enlightenedstudents after 2005. Debating literally means ‘to fight’. Today,debating means a discussion between twoparties aimed at forming a conclusion. This isbecause debating involves two parties(usually) holding different views about thesame topic. The debating improves critical thinking,listening note-taking, speech delivery, andpublic speaking skills, it increases self-confidence, enhances teamwork skills andcollaboration and above all, Debating is lots offun! The science fair is a fair where studentspresent their science project results in theform of a report, display board, and modelsthat students have created. It is so important to motivate students withscience. Because they can share their projects,ideas with their friends, parents and people

who visit the fair. It also contributes to thesocial development of students. To exploreand encourage scientific and technologicaltalent among the young generation. To provide a means of media to the sciencestudents for trying out theory into practice.To bring out the future scientists into lime-light who may then be trained as proficientinventors for the growth of the society, nationand mankind. Cultural activities sooth a person’s mind. Wefind refreshments listening music, watchingmovies, concerts, going to theater. . Culturallycompetent students can also enlighten thesociety through their inherent talents likeRecitation, Poetry Writing, Anchoring, Music,Art/Painting, Dance and so on. Best aspect of Co-curricular activities atschool is that they are part of academics, andmakes teaching and learning experienceexciting for both students and teachers.Students through classroom activities likequizzes, debates, recitation and any moreacademic games learn better. Therefore, Co-Curricular activities along with academics areessential for every student. But after 2005, arethe Willes students are competent enoughto compete in the reality? Very sad that I don’tknow actually!!! The real value of setting inspirations is not therecognition or reward rather it’s the personwe become by finding the discipline, courageand dedication to achieve something betterfor ourselves as well as for the society. I havehad my other priorities after leaving Willes in

1999 but it was the level of commitment andeagerness to do something for the bettermentof our school, kept me going till we handedover this legacy of Willes United Club to 2002batch. We did it successfully for 1999 batch forour school and it is indeed a proud momentfor us as I am recalling it after 20 years in2019!!!

"Exceptional memory bring happiness" -Probably it's the most veracious quote of thecentury. And if it involves the story of schoollife then it might surpass the fairy tale. Iapparently lucky enough to spend 10 longyears of primary school life in Willes LittleFlower School since 1989-99. Moment ofpleasure and misery walked besides me duringthat period but fortunate enough to overcomethose with the help of Family & Friends.

After 20 years recalling the reminiscence mayanticipate the respect of those preciousmoment which gradually developed myidentity, personality and dignity into thesociety till today. All those 10 years are specialbut certain wonderful event within those timeare vivid. One of that is Touring India & Nepal.With the time being, memory become tamebut so far, I recall it’s the year 1996 while I wasin class 8.

I remember, One year past from then ourhonorable chairman Sir promised usaccommodating a tour to India & Nepal forthose who stood (First, Second & Third)combined (as we have 4/5 sections ofstudents ) from Class 7 to Class 10. I'mfortunate enough to be a part of it. This tourwasn't only an educational tour but also toknow about the culture of neighboringcountries. That was an eight days journey andwe consist of 15 members including Honorableformer Head Master Shah Alam Sir, (His)former Deputy Honorable Sweety Miss,Honorable Bormon kanti Bordhon Sir & lovelyHonorable Rowshan Ara Madam. The journeywas pretty grievous as the whole passage wetravel through Bus. But interestingly theintensity couldn't exhaust us. We entertainthe whole tour by making jokes, intimatingfriends & teachers without disrespecting oroffensive them. We went to Shiliguri,Darjeeling in India and Kathmandu in Nepal. Itwas probably the month of October and weprobably had Durgapuja holiday. Therefore, asHindu major state India and Nepal celebratedthe festivals. Our journey started from the school toBurimari Check post, Lalmonirhat. After ashort procedure in Immigration check post,we step our foot to India and thats notable asfor most of us is the first journey to overseas.The tour guide Sachin Tamang who is aNepalese national prepared the bus whichstayed with us till our return. Journey to Indiastarted from Shiliguri where we resided thenight. The next day, we move onto Darjeelingwhereas the weather was pretty imposing inDarjeeling as we had a chance to stay there

only a day or two. Indeed, the road was scarywhich was devious and the bus rides onto themountain swiftly. Hence, we had a littleshopping and enjoy some beautiful scenerythat the guide parades us. The mostastonishing moment we conquer during ourtravel from Darjeeling to Kathmandu. It wasprobably a 2 days tour Bus journey was toreach Kathmandu. It's good to say that we'vegot the Gratis Seal from Nepal embassy intoour passport which was an honor for ourgroup as the Seal only marked for theDiplomat/ Government officials. The NepaleseHigh Commissioner and his lovely wifereceived us and granted a party and giftedeach of our members a Kukri Knife which istheir traditional weapon. The hotel we stayedhad a remarkable view of Mount Everest,Himalayas. During these 3 days tour inKathmandu, we visited the Chitwan NationalPark, Pokhara, Bhaktapur etc. The Nepalesepeoples are very friendly and hospitable. Wetruly like the food and the sightseeing. After 8days of tireless journey, we came back to ourhomeland. It’s hard to remember all these after 23 yearsbut recalling such occasion always made meproud for being a part of Willes ’99 Batch.  It isa memory to cherish for a lifetime as we werethe first and only team that got thisopportunity to visit India & Nepal andintroduced Willes Little Flower School inthese neighboring countries. While writingthis story, I was not only remembering ourjourney & places but also got excited sharingour moments with the entire team andespecially with my friend Wazed…#thosewerethedays

Childhood!! Who doesn’t want to goback to those impeccable beautiful days,again? The most precious andmemorable days for anyone, I am sure.We all wants to go starting, as a kid tothe very first chapter of our life to crafta meaningful book; which may derive ourdestination and can be a milestone andexamples for many others. I still remember those days when thewhole day was actually revolved only bythe time & activities regarding theschool; I mean from waking up to till goto bed. It would like starting the daymaking up home works to be takingpreparation for any class test; attendingthe classes with fear of having big nailsand polishes (Lol); got the name at theblack board during busy gossiping &chatting; having chitchat about thecrushes (of course not from school,relatively about players and celebritieshahaha), got heartbroken seeing toughquestion papers, scary feelings teacher

used to come holding the ans wer sheet orresult card, hiding the faces behind mateswhile teacher usedto ask questions, keepingquite during Head sir passed by our class,celebrating the classes deferred due toabsence of the teacher, bunking the classeswith horror of getting caught (though we werenot that much expert at bunking), sharing andgulping all the snacks before the tiffin break,the immense mischievousness during the 15mins break times, used to get the boyspunished to kneel down with any immoralbehavior like ask out or any disturbing deeds(used to be our favorites..lol), rivalries &completion in between groups, dreaming ofbecoming the very first girl band ever (Spicegirl affect..lol), winter sports days with lessclasses, the year-end class parties &preparation, looking for the suggestions justright before the exam day, cheating duringpractical classes task done by others (actuallyused to help each other, haha) but hardly gotscold by any teacher I remember, talking allabout the new technology those days likecomputers and mobile phones (like ecstasy forus to have or use), the very last school hourended up waiting, chatting & having pickles orother snacks available right in front the gate,after getting back home, used to takepreparation for the very next day at school. Iremember we barely enjoyed having 2 daysholidays. I mean in a word we used to haveonly one world ‘The School’. I still rememberthe very last day we were crying and mourninglike hell which seemed like someone died(specially the girls). I mean so many more totell. At least I myself cherish those stunningdays and it weighs up the feel good factors ina radiant way. We actually had the vibe of so

many different colors of so many differentexperiences, the learning and the values whichactually helped enriching our knowledge,wisdom & insights.  Actually IT itself is alifetime through which one can ride the wholejourney merely. We the 6 friends from different parts of theworld like Bangladesh, India, Australia,Canada, UK where the bond we share, is tiedwith the strongest string ever Alhamdulillahand still we are intensely connected with eachother even if we are thousand miles away . Westill interfere into everyone’s staying abovethe head like a satellite (lol) and keep onwatching and taking part to resolve anyproblem appearing as a drone!!

To certain extent, we are attached likeumbilical cord towards each other when onemay require any advice, counseling etc. Stillwe try to schedule a fixed day despite of beingbusy like hell to catch up through Video callsor Audios as a most awaited to unleash all thestresses and may have some fun which mayentail & implies as a stimulant. I guess if youreally belong to such companies & friends inyour life who will never let you down andsurely will hold you back until one gets upwhich may be affecting the other helping outto fall down a slight is a blessing. Even thoughthe most significant life changing decision Ihave made came across from my school; myLife partner; my school mate. So from everyaspect the words will be really less to judge 

my thoughts & gratitude to be a part of thisSchool Willes… So it’s way beyond to begrateful to Almighty Allah of course to havesuch experience, surroundings in my life. Last but not the least again would like toremind that each moment of my school lifereprises me to the journey with bounty of joyand I believe the bonds created from this rootis never ending. It can never build a wall inbetween the bonding we have made so far Ibelieve. Long Live our friendship as being aLittle Flower.
