A lifeguard does a very important job. Chris is a life guard woring on the beach

at Carpinteria in !os Angeles.

Chris says being very attentive" athletic and being good with people are alifeguard#s top $ualities. To eep in shape he swims and runs every day" and lifts

weights three times a wee. %is favourite part of the job is being with people"

helping out wherever he can. The hardest part is dealing with big crowds of
