(090 m) e reduzido (045 m) Nos tratamentos com oespaccedilamento reduzido a colhedora trabalhou com umaalimentaccedilatildeo de duas linhas de plantio para cadaconjunto de divisores de linha O experimento foiconduzido no campo experimental da UniversidadeFederal de Viccedilosa (UFV) estabelecida no municiacutepio deCoimbra MG O cultivar de milho utilizado nestetrabalho eacute o DKB 747 O delineamento experimentaladotado foi o de blocos casualizados com 18tratamentos e trecircs repeticcedilotildees onde os tratamentosconstituem um esquema fatorial 2 x 3 x 3 com 2espaccedilamentos entre linhas da cultura (045 m 09 m)

3 velocidades de deslocamento da colhedora (18 35e 41 km h-1) e 3 aberturas entre o cocircncavo e ocilindro debulhador (35 30 e 25 mm) totalizando 54unidades experimentais Os dados das perdas foramsubmetidos anaacutelise de variacircncia e as meacutedias foramcomparadas utilizando-se o teste Tukey a 5 deprobabilidade A anaacutelise estatiacutestica dos dados foirealizada utilizando-se do programa computacionalSAEG 90 O total das perdas quantitativas foi divididoem perdas naturais perdas na plataforma de colheita eperdas nos mecanismos internos Para a anaacutelisequalitativa foi utilizado o teste de germinaccedilatildeo para se

[en] The harvester is one of the most important stages of agricultural activity The losses in this operation definethe success of this activity The losses occur in theharvester of quantitative way due to the grains that

remained in the field after the operation and alsohappens in quality due to damage in the grain from thefield The objective of this work was to evaluate thelosses occurred in the corn mechanized harvestercultivated with conventional and narrow spacesbetween plants of 090 and 045 m respectively Innarrow row spacing treatments the combine workedfed by two rows of plants between dividers of theharvester header The experiment was conducted inthe experimental field of the Universidade Federal deViccedilosa (UFV) established in the city of Coimbra MGThe maize cultivar used in this work is the DKB 747The experimental design was a randomized block with18 treatments and three replications where thetreatments are a factorial 2 x 3 x 3 with two of thecrop row spacings (045 m 090 m) three groundspeed machine (18 35 and 41 km h-1) and three andthe openings between the hollow cylinder thresher (3530 and 25 mm) totaling 54 experimental units Thelosses data had been submitted at variance analysisand the averages had been compared using Tukey testat 5 of probability level The data of the losses hadbeen submitted variance analysis and the averages hadbeen compared using the Tukey test 5 of probability



The analysis statistics of the data was performanceusing the computational program SAEG 90 The totalof the quantitative losses was divided in natural losseslosses in the harvest platform and losses in the internalmechanisms For the qualitative analysis thegermination test was used to compare the mechanicaldamages suffered by the grains in the mechanizedprocess of harvest with the manual process Thenatural losses were higher for plots planted with row

spacing of 090 m The speed of 35 km h-1 andspacing of 090 m between rows had the lowest lossesin the harvesting platform For losses in internalmechanisms speed of 35 km h-1 and the opening of 30 mm between the concave and cylinder thresherprovided the greatest total losses For the spacing of 045 m the total losses were 82 of the corn yieldwhile the spacing of 090 m the total lossesrepresented 73 of yield The mean grain germinationof thresher manually cultivated with row spacing of planting of 045 and 090 m was 7845 and 7412respectively The opening of 25 mm and the ground

speed machine of 18 km h-1 used in conventionalspacing showed lower values of germination Theanalysis of germination in the treatments with plantspacing of 045 m showed no significant differenceswhen using different combine speeds The differencebetween the results of the manual harvest with harvestshows that the mechanical damage in seeds caused bythe harvester during the harvest was very intensepreventing the production of seeds
