Resumo:

O presente projeto tem como objetivo utilizar o gênero cartão postal como recurso midiático para a prática da leitura e da escrita nas aulas de Língua Inglesa. Conforme as DCES que priorizam a análise dos gêneros textuais, as atividades com cartões postais, explorando os pontos turísticos da cidade de Prudentópolis, tornam-se relevantes para a aprendizagem da Língua Inglesa. O conhecimento de mundo, as experiências de cada educando, sua cultura e a cultura da própria cidade serão valorizadas a ponto de refletirem positivamente na elaboração dos textos escritos nos cartões postais. O projeto será aplicado no 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental do Colégio Estadual Prefeito Antonio Witchemichen, no município de Prudentópolis. As unidades serão pautadas em atividades práticas, mas terão início com pesquisas em sites na internet sobre o gênero cartão postal. Posteriormente, serão desenvolvidas atividades sobre cartões postais com leituras e interpretações, finalizando o trabalho com a elaboração de cartões postais, utilizando-se de fotos ou desenhos de pontos turísticos da cidade de Prudentópolis, com a

exposição desses cartões no Colégio para apreciação do público. Após a exposição, os alunos trocarão os cartões com colegas. Autores como Bakthin(1992), Chagas(1979) Daltozo (2006), Barzotto e Ghilard (1999) e as DCES(1998), embasarão esta pesquisa.

Apresentação

A leitura e a escrita são processos significativos que devem acontecer

gradativamente e, para que o caráter meramente formalista que ambas muitas

vezes possuem deixe de ser a prioridade maior, faz-se necessário o trabalho

com atividades diferenciadas e significativas. Assim sendo, a análise e estudo

de gêneros discursivos, leitura, produção textual e oralidade em sala de aula

por meio do gênero específico Cartão Postal tem como proposição tornar as

aulas de Língua Inglesa mais atrativas, objetivando assim, um maior

envolvimento e/ou participação dos estudantes durante as atividades. E para

que o ensino proposto resulte em uma aprendizagem mais motivadora, é

fundamental, porém que as atividades apresentadas aos discentes nas aulas

de línguas, não sejam tão somente conteudistas, mas que, abarquem

conhecimentos culturais tanto em relação à própria cultura do educando bem

como a cultura de outras pessoas e lugares. Ensinar a ler e a escrever não é

uma tarefa das mais fáceis, ainda mais em se tratando de uma outra língua que

não a materna.

Cabe ressaltar que, um bom educador lança mão de diferentes artifícios

para ensinar, porque seu trabalho deve ser contínuo e a persistência deve ser

sua aliada.

As Diretrizes Curriculares Estaduais, doravante DCEs, tem assim um

papel relevante na vida profissional do docente porque tem a função de nortear

a sua prática. Sabe-se, então que as DCEs abordam significativamente o uso

de diferentes gêneros textuais e os cartões postais corroboram para que as

práticas da oralidade e da escrita sejam vistas, entendidas e realizadas como

práticas interativas, as quais possam fazer sentido quando aprendidas. A

pluralidade cultural que subjaz os cartões postais também remete aos temas

transversais citados pelas DCEs. Desse modo, o programa de desenvolvimento

Educacional (PDE) tem como objetivo maior, fornecer subsídios aos

educadores, por meio de pesquisas e estudos teóricos, fundamentando assim

a prática pedagógica para que o ensino a que se propõe traga resultados

profícuos para o desenvolvimento educacional do estudante.

O trabalho de pesquisa, assim como as atividades resultantes dele,

serão desenvolvidas com alunos do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental do Colégio

Estadual Prefeito Antonio Witchemichen em Prudentópolis –Pr e abordarão a

leitura e a escrita de Cartões Postais nas aulas de Língua Inglesa sob

diferentes prismas. Tem como objetivo realizar atividades diferenciadas

destacando os pontos turísticos da cidade de Prudentópolis, pesquisando fatos

interessantes e peculiares à respeito deles. Partindo de pesquisas, o trabalho

com músicas, com acrósticos, atividades interpretativas, preenchimento de

cartões postais, assim como o envio e o recebimento de um postal, configuram-

se como resultado prático do trabalho desenvolvido.

Todas as atividades produzidas durante a execução do projeto

culminaram na organização desta Unidade Didática (UD), destinada aos alunos

do Ensino Fundamental. Este trabalho referente à Unidade Didática será

supervisionado pelo professor orientador, equipe pedagógica do Colégio e NRE

do município de lotação.

Gênero : Cartão postal.

O Cartão Postal é um tipo de gênero discursivo que tem como finalidade

levar informações ao leitor, como detalhes do local mencionado bem como do

estado psicológico de quem o enviou. A linguagem empregada é bastante

informal, a narrativa é curta, possui imagem, data, endereçamento,

destinatário.

É um tipo de carta resumida que circula sem envelope. Possui frente e

verso.

No verso do Cartão, escreve-se o nome e o endereço do destinatário e

uma pequena mensagem.

Na frente do Cartão Postal há uma imagem geralmente de um ponto

turístico de algum lugar.

A pessoa que envia o Cartão Postal, normalmente refere-se ou

apresenta o local onde está a pessoa para qual envia.

Em Munique, na Alemanha, foi descoberto um cartão postal enviado por Adolf Hitler durante a

1ª Guerra Mundial. O cartão datava 1916. Nessa época Hitler tinha 27 anos e escreveu para um

companheiro de regimento, cujo nome era Karl Lanzhammer. Neste postal, Hitler cita que

passava por um tratamento dentário e que ainda conquistaria sua volta voluntária ao campo de

batalha. Esta correspondência encontra-se com um colecionador.
