FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Second Revision) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standar

after the draft finalized by the Transmission Devices Sectional Committee had be

shaft diameters ranging from 15 to 290 mm.

NOTE-For the guidance of consumers, Annex A

recommending the data to be supplied while placing

order, and Annex B recommending methods of checking

the angular and parallel alignment of the coupling, have

been included.
