He exhibits his work internationally with recent shows in Japan, Canada, the USA, Malaysia, Portugal and Singapore. His work is part of the permanent collections of several museums including the Joaquim Vermelho Museum in Estremoz, Portugal, which acquired the complete portfolio from the series “Then and Now: Images from Portugal,” the San Francisco Museum of Art and the Fogg Museum. He has been Master Printer for the Singapore International Photography Festival and for the Singapore Art Museum’s photographic exhibitions. He has taught workshops on photographic printmaking in Asia and the USA. He is currently a Visiting Professor of Photography at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts in the U.S.A., the Digital Creative Center Research at NTU in Singapore, Kawasaki University in Japan, Maryland State Arts Council Grants for Poetry and Photography, and the Baltimore City Arts Council Grants for Photography. He has done artist residencies at Awagami Paper in Japan, the Hungarian Multicultural Center in Budapest, the Obras Center in Portugal, and at the Centro Nacional de Cultura in Lisbon. His books on the Indian contemporary landscape, “Wandering in Fertile Fields,” and his work done in Japan, “Two Fish, Out of Water” have been published by Datz Press and are available through Amazon.com.
