Lemon Car, ropa para niños llena de vida, es una marca de ropa para niños de 0 a 6 años que pretende ir más allá de la moda.

Nuestra marca nace en 2009 en la capital de Camboya, Phnom Penh, dónde la diseñadora de moda Judit Hurtado entra en contacto con un taller muy particular. Un taller de comercio justo dónde trabajan mujeres desfavorecidas económica y socialmente.

Allí conocerá a un productor de algodones tejidos artesanalmente y teñidos con tintes naturales, Goel Community, una asociación que desde 2006 trabaja con familias tejedoras de la región de Takeo en Camboya, ofreciéndoles salarios y condiciones dignas de trabajo. Goel Comunity se encuentra inscrita en la organización mundial del comercio justo (World Fair Trade Organitation).

Allí comenzará esta aventura cuyo propósito es continuar trabajando con talleres que respeten las condiciones del comercio justo: no a la explotación infantil, salarios dignos, seguros médicos, jornada laboral de 8 horas, respeto al medio ambiente…

Lemon Car utiliza tejidos naturales para confeccionar sus prendas y tintes naturales en nuestra “Natural Collectión”, tejida artesanlamente y respetuosa con el medio ambiente.

Lemon Car distribuye sus productos en tiendas multimarca así como en su tienda online www.lemoncarkids.com.

Our brand, our philoshophy

Lemon Car, clothes for children full of life, it is a brand for children from 0 to 6 years old that tries to go beyond fashion.

Our brand was born in 2009 in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, where the designer Judit Hurtado came across an original workshop. A workshop where economic and socially disadvantaged women worked.

There she also met a natural cotton dye producer, Goel Community, an asociation that works with weaving families from Takeo in Cambodia since 2006, giving them good work conditions and trade wages. Goel community belongs to the Word Fair Trade Organitation.

This is where the adventure begins. It intends to continue working with workshops that respect the conditions of fair trade: no child labor, fair wages, health insurance, 8-hour workday, respect for the environment …

Lemon car uses natural fabrics to make the garments and natural dyes in our “Natural Collection”, 100% handmade and environmentally friendly.

El Batik es un tejido típico del sudeste asiático 100% algodón. Los batiks cambian constantemente en el mercado, por tanto no podemos asegurar que el estampado que recibas sea el mismo que ves en la muestra, sólo aseguramos el color. Consideramos que estás carácterísticas hacen a nuestras prendas más únicas y especiales.

The Batik is a typical fabric of the Asian southeast 100 % cotton. The batiks changes constanly on the market, so we can not guarantee that the pattern you receive is the same as that of the sample, just the same color. We consider that these individual characteristics make our garments more unique and special.
