KEY FACTS

“We have been really pleased with the recycled plastic products. When choosing the new material we were conscious of it being one which had long term benefits. The products have given both Banham Zoo and Africa Alive a new lease of life and have transformed the areas. We will definitely

®be using hanit again in our future renovations.”

Charlie Snowling, Maintenance Manager - ZSEA

Hahn Plastics Ltd are leading ®manufacturers of hanit

recycled plastic products. A family of highly engineered blends of recycled plastics,

® hanit products offer significant advantages over traditional materials. Thanks to a wide range of products available, the ZSEA was able to begin the upgrades in both of its facilities quickly. d

®hanit recycled plastic products have allowed both Banham Zoo and Africa Alive to be a little more environmentally friendly. Made from 100% recycled plastic and being 100% recyclable, they are extremely

sustainable products. They are also chemically inert as they are not made with any harmful preservatives. This ensures the safety of the animals and the environment it has been placed in. The ability to eliminate all the high maintenance costs was also a distinct advantage. As it does not absorb moisture,

® hanit does not rot or decay. The ZSEA was also pleased that with the timber finish effect as both Banham Zoo and Africa Alive are now extremely aesthetically pleasing and the products fit in well with all existing structures within both of the environments.

The ZSEA was pleased with the ease of installation and they

®found the handling of hanit just as simple as timber.
