Country “France”
France is a country located in Western Europe,
with several overseas islands and territories on
other continents.
The Metropolitan France extends from the
Mediterranean Sea to the English channel and the
North Sea, and from the Rhine River to the
Atlantic Ocean. It is often referred to as
L'hexagone ("the Hexagon") because of the
geometric shape of its territory. The nation is the
largest EU (European Union) country in area and
the third largest in Europe, behind only Russia
and Ukraine (including its extra-European
territories like French Guiana, the country
becomes greater than the Ukraine).
Capital “Paris”
Paris is the capital and most populous
city of France, as well as the capital of
the administrative region of Île-de-
France. The city is situated in one of
the meanders of the river Seine in
central Paris Basin, between the
confluent of the Marne and the Seine
River upstream, and the Oise and the
Seine River below. As the ancient
capital of an empire extended from five
continents, it’s today the capital of the
francophone world.

originally from Pannonia, currently Hungary,
and who later moved to occupy the Friesland,
