Walkingremainsanimportantmodifiableriskfactortargetfortype2diabetesandachievingatleast7,500steps/daymaybeareasonabletargetforolderadults.

WeshowedthatECCwastheonlyresistanceprotocolabletoretainthestrengthincreasesafter6weeksofdetraininginresistancetrainedmen.Inaddition,onlyECCincreasedandpreservedthemaximumnumberofrepetitionsandthechestcircumference.

ThispapershowsthatthemedialOxfordPartialkneereplacementimplantcanbeusedbytraineesurgeonsandConsultantsurgeonswiththesamesuccessinacentre whichspecialises inthetechnique.

Nanoparticlesettlingincellculturesinvitromayinfluencetheactualdosethatthecell"see".Herewedevelopasimpleexperimentalapproachtoquantifythisdoseandfurtherlinkittotheobservedcytotoxicityinvitro.
