Síntese do projeto
Objetivos - Avaliar o impacto de variáveis psicossociais e da sociabilidade dos
cidadãos seniores mediante o uso das TIC no contexto da comunidade
online miOne (www.mione.pt); e (b) contribuir para o crescente
desenvolvimento da comunidade miOne com a participação do cidadão
sénior. O estudo será realizado em contexto de co-presença, face-a-face, e
em contexto da comunidade online miOne (comunicação mediada
tecnologicamente). Os grupos de discussão serão constituídos pelos
seniores das Universidades Sénior de Aveiro, Viseu e Porto.

3 - Planning a Responsive Web Design approach for the online community
miOne
4 - Develop and assess the online community miOne with sociability and
usability adjustments
5 - Final assessment of the participants? quality of life, stress and social
engagement after the project involvement
6 - Divulgation, dissemination and engagement of the stakeholders
Resultados esperados - Assessment of the variables (QoL, LSNS, PSS, OS) (1st moment);
- Assess the participants, literacy and contexts of ICT use (tools, services
and internet);
- A list of functional and user requirements for the online community;
- A working model and conceptual model for a responsive online
community for older adults;
- A RWD development specification, and a live Front-End Style Guide
prototype;
- A validated conceptual prototype for present and future iterations with
the online community miOne;
- The functional online community miOne;
- New games in the game area of the online community (games with a
purpose, games for health and gamification strategies);
- App for smart devices to articulate the different areas of the online
community to daily life;
- Learning courses related with health and articulated with the Universities
of Third Age (e.g. Nutrition, Physical activity, Mindfulness);
- Interlink the area of Sharing to current services relative to pre- and pos-
experience of Senior Tourism)
-Develop and apply a complete test plan relative to functionality,
compatibility, security, design, content, accessibility, sociability and
usability;
- Assess variables (QoL, LSNS, PSS, OS) (2nd moment)
- Regular reports on existing trends (keywords related to the project) that
have a significant impact on the project;
- Regular reports on novelties and discoveries made during the project;
- Regular innovation workshops to the partners, held after the release of
each trend report;
- Website to disseminate up-to-date information and outcomes of the
project to researchers and the general public;
- Disseminate the project at major national and international conferences,
science festivals and mass media;
- Scientific publications in conferences and journals;
- Annual workshops for up to 45 students and researchers
- An international workshop/conference involving all participants from the
team and UTAs. Furthermore, the project is expected to engender lots of
new discoveries, which later
on will be transferred to other fields of operation. Hence, the result of the
cooperation will not only be products themselves but also reports and
works containing the knowledge
acquired during the process.
