“When can we have some fruit?”we ask. “We will eat the fruittonight,” says mama.

O meu irmão Rahim é ganancioso.Provou a fruta toda e comeu muitafruta.

My brother Rahim is greedy. Hetastes all the fruit. He eats a lot ofit.

“Vejam o que o Rahim fez”, gritouo meu irmão mais novo. “O Rahimé malandro e egoísta,” disse eu.

“Look at what Rahim did!” shoutsmy little brother. “Rahim isnaughty and selfish,” I say.

Later, Rahim says sorry to us. “Iwill never be so greedy again,” hepromises. And we all believe him.
