✦What is The TAMAR Project is a Brazilian conservationist project, pioneer in gender, has revolutionized the fight for the preservation of endangered species. It operates in the quest to preserve endangered marine turtles.
✦What makes The mission of the TAMAR Project is to protect the sea turtles that occur in Brazil. Over time, they received support for the development of coastal communities and can thus reduce the human pressure on sea turtles.
The activities are organized through three lines of action:✦Conservation and applied research
✦Environmental education
✦Sustainable local development
To protect the turtles, also promotes the conservation of marine and coastal ecosystems and the sustainable development of communities.
