Este tipo de letra resultou de um genero de letra “normal-izada” como por exemplo a Helvetica, mas adquirindo uma forma de letras, como se fossem feitas isto é dobrando-as a mão. Obtendo linhas muito finas e rectas.O nome da fonte Amoldar surgiu devido da forma como moldei o meu tipo de letra.

This type of letter resulted of a kind of “normalized” letter as for example the Helvetic, but acquiring one form of letters, as they had become folding them it hand. Obtaining fine lines very and rectiline.The name of the Amoldar source appeared due to form as I molded my type of letter.

O alfabeto usado pelos romanos consistia somente de letras maiúsculas (ou caixa alta). As letras minúsculas, ou de caixa baixa, surgiram na Idade Média da escrita cursiva, primeiro como uma escrita uncial, e depois como minúsculas. As antigas letras romanas foram mantidas em inscrições formais e para dar ênfase em documentos escritos. As línguas que usam o alfabeto latino geralmente usam maiúsculas para iniciar parágrafos, sentenças e nomes próprios. As regras de uso de maiúscu-las mudaram com o tempo, e variam um pouco entre idiomas diferentes. O inglês, por exemplo, costumava pôr todos os substantivos iniciados em caixa alta, como o alemão ainda faz hoje.
