A pesar de que as mujeres indígenas víctimas de vioación, raramente denuncian

os casos ante as autoridades por razones de índoe cutura, socia y económica,

as dos mujeres denunciaron estos deitos y sus casos fueron anaizados por os

triunaes nacionaes e internacionaes.

En Agosto de 2010, a Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos ordenó a

reaización inmediata de una investigación ehaustiva e imparcia por parte de as

autoridades civies, sore a vioación y maos tratos sufridos por Inés Fernández

Ortega y Vaentina Rosendo, y que es fuese garantizada una compensación

adecuada y protección efectiva.

Me dirijo a su Eceencia para soicitar que garantice e acatamiento de a decisión

vincuante de a Corte Interamericana.

Amnesty Internationa considers that restricting his freedom is a vioation of hishuman right to freedom of epression, association and movement and is contraryto internationa a, particuary the Internationa Covenant on Civi and PoiticaRights, which Israel has ratied.
