FXMounting nuts
Two nuts, embedded in a polyamide12 mm thick body, permit equipment fixingon PR1 rail. They adjust to the rail bycatching. Equipment is fixed with a screw(length = thickness to be tightened +10 mm).In the table, the first figure concerns thehole in the upper side of the rail.

IMIntermediateMounting of terminal blocks
This accessory makes it possible to fix the rail between two terminal blocks onto afactory mounting terminal board, leaving access to the retaining screw.

Intermediate with 22 mm (.866")spacing, thred drilled to DIA. 10 mm(.394")
EBShield screen
This screen, to be used with blocks with quick connect tabsof the HD type, ensuresthe continuity of the shield bars. Connection can be made either by soldering or byusing 6,3 x 0,8 mm (.248" x .031")quick connect tabs. It is placed between twoblocks, separating them by 0,8 mm (.031").
This accessory reduces the insulating distances between terminal and ground, which can change the rating of the block at operating voltage (consult us).

FE End sectionsWhen assembled on the mounting track, terminal blocks cover each other's open side. At the end of an assembly, or when the size of the blocks change in an assembly, an end sectionmust be used to isolate the open side of the block. End sections are available for all terminal blocks and are sometimes available in colours. Coloured end sections can offer an easyand economical way to separate circuits for identification.

Rail mounted end sections
Circuit separator
End sections (cont.) Circuit separator and separator end section
The body of the standard terminal blocks of the series 5 000 is open in the central upperpart for the passage of the jumper bar..
In order to maintain clearance between 2 open blocks equipped with test sockets orbetween two series of open blocks equipped with jumper bars of different potential, theinsulator opening must be covered by a circuit separator.
An SCM separator snaps onto the top ofthe open terminal blocks, once the terminalboard is assembled.
This end section mounts on the rail next tothe open side of the block and offers thepossibility of protecting or identifying theassembly with a cover type CPM and amarker-holder type PEP. An end section isadvised every foot for support of the cover.
This end section isaligned with the blocks :
Thickness : 3 mm (.118")
This end section mounts on the rail next tothe open side of the block. It does not snapon the block itself.

2/ For the other blocks, a flange must beplaced at each end of the terminal block inorder to conserve insulation between theblocks and the metal stops. This flange can hold a CP cover, togetherwith a PEF terminal block identification door.It determines the hight of the assembly :31.8 mm or 40 mm or 50.5 mm (1.25" or1.57" or 1.99)

This is used to hold a cover in the middle of the terminal block when this is too long.Like the FEH, it determines the height of the assembly : 31,8 mm or 40 mm or 50.5 mm(1.25" or 1.57" or 1.99"). Using this makes it unneccessary to use an SC separator, butrequires the presence of FEH at the end of the terminal blocks

A separator inserted between two terminalblocks ensures lateral insulation orincreases leakage lines between respectingconducting parts. When mounted with the cover, the SC actsas a reinforcement to the cover, since itcorresponds to the assembly height.

Test device on
screw head
This patented device is mounted on theround screwdriver opening. It is used fortrouble shooting, measuring and controlfor monitoring and repairing an installation,on blocks without a test socket. For this, the device receives an FC2 test plug.
Test socket
This accessory is screwed into the tappedholes of the connector bar of the terminalblocks. Some blocks are delivered socketmounted. This socket receives an FC testplug.
The DC's are differentiated by their colour :
green for blocks with 5 mm spacing
blue for MA 2,5/5 blocks
yellow for blocks with 6 mm spacing
grey for M 4/6.D and MB 2,5/6 blocks
orange for blocks with 8 mm spacing
brown for MB 6/8 blocks

Jumper bar
Use the BJ jumper bar to connect consecutive and non consecutive terminal blocks with the same spacing. Two types of jumper bars areavailable : an assembled unit and a not assembled unit. Both jumper bars include a metal tube wich makes contact with the terminal block'sinternal connector bar.To mount the BJ jumper bar accessory onto terminal blocks still having top center partitions, the user must cut out all partitions between theblocks. When the BJ jumper bar is used with each of two series of connected blocks, the top center opening at the junction of the two series must beclosed by a circuit separator or a separator end section SCM, SCF or SCD to permit different voltage potentials on each series jumper baraccessory.

This accessory allows the connection of 2 spring terminal blocks with different spacingsto each other (spacing 5 and 6 mm, 6 and 8 mm, 5 and 8 mm). It is not necessary to usea spring block with an additional spring to jump with a wire, but it is necessary to use anend section between the interconnected blocks, whatever the mounting direction of theblocks may be.

To connect terminal blocks, place the metal tube into the topcenter hole on each terminal block to be connected. The metaltube contacts the terminal block's internal connector bar. Theperforated bar is cut to length and placed flat along the centeropening of the series of terminal blocks. The screw is insertedinto the perforated bar's hole which is located directly above theblocks being connected. The screw goes through the threadedmetal tube and is screwed into the terminal block's internalconnector bar. This completes the electrical connection to theperforated bar and connects the block.

This accessory is for connecting ordisconnecting two consecutive blocks, open or closed. The use of a third non-connected is recommended, to allow for a"rest" position of the rotating jumper link.We recommend the use of a circuit separatorSC in order to preserve the insulation. TheBJP is mounted in the center of the terminalblocks, the connector bars of which aretapped for receiving the interconnectionaccessories.
This accessory permits the interconnectionof consecutive or non-consecutive blocks. For this, detach the studs manually whereconnection is not required. The use of twobars permits alternated jumping.A captive screw is mounted on each stud. This jumper bar is delivered with a protectivecover snapped onto the top of the block, assuring touch proof protection.
Note : At each extremity of the jumpers theassembly must be insulated. For this, use either a closed block or acircuit separator SC.

For quick connect blocks, a sub-assembly must be used: screw plus washer toconnect the jumper bar onto the required block (see VJS + RDJ).
For stud block, an IN spacer is necessary in order to ensure insulation betweenthe jumper bar and the rail. The BJ is fitted under the washer and the nut of eachblock to be shunted.

Quick-jump lets you interconnect screw clamp terminals ofdifferent sizes, levels and all manufacturers quickly andsafely. Its insulation displacement technology makes iteasy to use, fast, economical and does not require a specialtool. Use as a jumper between relays, switches and otherelectronic components. Entrelec Quick-jump will fit anyscrew clamp type terminal block, from 6 mm .238" spacingand larger.
This accessory can be used only on the terminal blockswith at least one compression clamp connection. It permitsthe electrical connection of 2 to 10 blocks.Interconnection of non-consecutive blocks is possible byremoving the teeth opposite the blocks which must not beconnected. The comb-type jumper bars can be cut usingpliers (or a saw) : in this case, the use of an insulating tip EIPis recommended where possible ; otherwise, use an SCFseparator or FE end section between two series ofinterconnected blocks, in order to preserve insulation. Thecomb is placed in the compression clamp before tighteningthe screws, above the eventual conductor.
