Katherine, who is only 36, was diagnosed in 2010 with aggressive breast cancer that had already spread to her lymph nodes, spine, ribs and liver. She is currently undergoing treatment both in Melbourne and

Germany. Kath and her partner Phil have two young girls Elissa aged 5, and Kaylee aged 3. Despite their misfortune they remain positive and focused on the long battle ahead.
